Irene's POV

It was my second day at Tae's apartment in Daegu, still wondering about how he can afford to pay rent with his financial problems. I woke up before Tae, as he's snoring as loud as a pig. I took this opportunity to admire the cute mole on his nose, and goddamn he looked hot AND cute at the same time. Like someone kill me now....

I got out of bed carefully, not wanting to wake him up, as he would be all pervy with me again. I freshened up, tied my hair up in a messy bun and wore my favorite t-shirt that belonged to Taehyung. His shirt was so big that it went down to my knees. I mean I know I'm short, but this kid should at least know his proper size. He looks nothing like an extra large.

I headed to the kitchen and started to make Tae's favorite breakfast... PANCAKES!!!

It was one of my favorites too. I wanted to make him breakfast because I know how much stress has been on him lately with his family and the murder he accidentally committed.

When he woke up, we ate our breakfast happily, we kept talking about random topics, again, until it was 1:30pm.

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, and we spent it indoors watching movies together, cuddling on the couch. I was planning on visiting my grandparents tonight, and I want to drag Tae with me.

"Hey, Tae. I was thinking we should go out tonight...." I said not giving him the eye contact he wanted.

"What's wrong?" He asked. "Where do you want to go?" He asked gripping me tighter than he already was, resting his chin on my head. He was playing with the tiny mole on the top of my head earlier. He's obsessed with it just as much as I am for his nose mole.

"I originally came to Daegu, to you know.... visit Appa's parents...." I said whispering as I didn't want to make him awkward and feel guilty for what he has done.

"How badly do you want me to join you?" He asked, leaving me surprised he didn't protest and whine like a child to stay home.

"A lot...." I sad making a pouty face.

"Well, then. I guess I have no choice but to join my princess, now do I?" He said with a warm box smile.

"Really?! Thank you!!!!!!" I said hugging him a bit too tight.

"Okay you can let go of me now..." He said gasping for air.

"I love you!" I said as I quickly stole a peck from his lips.

"Only that long?????" He whined.

"You are the most perverted person I know." I said making a disgusted face at him. But I wasn't complaining about it either.

I grabbed him by his collar and pulled him into a deep, passionate kiss, only releasing him until we both needed air.

"Daebak.... What kind of girl did I fall for?" He said with the blank, dazed and confused expression.

I looked at him with a mischievous smirk, wiping my mouth sexily.

"Woah." He said before we both burst out laughing.

7:30pm

DING DONG!

I rang the doorbell of my grandparents' house, my heart thumping so loud that I guess Taehyung could notice how

nervous I was. He grabbed my hand and gripped it tightly, telling me that everything would be fine.

The door creaked open ever so slowly, revealing my fragile-looking grandmother.

"Hyun-ah..." She whispered with tears brimming her eyes.

I hugged her tightly as she kept on repeating the words 'my dear' and 'thank goodness you're okay' which made me oddly confused. She pulled away from the hug as she examined the tall, handsome stranger beside me.

"Oh, who's this handsome young man?" My grandma said nudging me.

"Grandma..." I said blushing.

Taehyung took a deep bow.

"Hello grandmother!" He said with enthusiasm.

"Bowing is for strangers, you're family now!" Grandma said pulling him into a tight hug.

"Who's here honey?" I heard my grandfather's deep, raspy voice asking with love.

"Hyun-ah!" He yelled as soon as he spotted me at the house entrance.

I ran into his tight embrace, missing him as he treated me way better than Appa has ever done.

"You're okay! What a relief!" He said looking as if he had just won the lottery.

"Oh, is this your boyfriend that saved you from your father?" Grandfather said walking towards Tae -who was just as confused as I was- shaking his hand giving him a thousand thanks for protecting me.

"What's going on?" I asked them politely.

"Your father was never human, well at least never behaved like one. He never showed a hair of respect towards us. I mean we're his biological parents!" My grandpa explained.

"I don't know what went wrong in my parenting...." Grandma said sighing. Taehyung then went over to grandma and started to comfort her.

"Do you know that Appa isn't alive anymore?" I asked with extra caution.

"What???? Really??? My grandparents screamed.

"That's a relief... He didn't deserve to live after all he did." My grandfather said extremely calm.

"How did he die?" Grandma asked not too concerned.

"He was murdered." Tae blurted out.

"Who murdered him?" she asked.

"I did...." He said quietly expecting to be slapped any time soon.

Grandma walked up to him and gave him a big hug to him.

"You have saved my poor child. How will I ever repay you?" She said crying her eyes out.

"Nothing, but let me be with Joohyun. Please." He asked with a loving tone.

"Of course! That's nothing to ask about from us! You have the right over her, you saved her life so her life now belongs to you." My grandpa said happily.

"Unless you mistreat her, then you'll die." he said completely changing his tone form happy to dead serious.

"This calls for a celebration!" Grandma said.

"Yay!" I yelled happily. I never thought I would be celebrating my father's death with HIS parents. Funny huh?

While we were celebrating, I got a call from Jungkook. I excused myself from the table at which, we were gathered at for dinner.

"Hello" I said.

"Noona..." He said with a sad tone in his voice.

"The police found out about Taehyung hyung..."
