49: Loving You

Irene's POV

The DJ slowed down the songs. It was he cue for couples to go on the dance floor and dance with their loved ones as they may have a difficult time maintaining their relationship through college. It was the time to express to your partner how much you love them.

Sometimes these slow dances would get heated. The couples would start making out and rubbing their bodies against each other. They would pretty much provide live pornography for the crowd. It was quite gross to be honest. It's not like anyone's using the classrooms in the school right now anyways. It wouldn't be that hard for them to find a comfy desk, now would it?

Taehyung suddenly kneeled down in front of me. I guess everyone was still staring at us because the crowd was in awe. Everyone was whistling and cheering us. I could hear Jungkook yell "Get her tiger."

I can't believe he somewhat moved on so quickly. This maknae I'm telling you...

"May I have this dance?" I heard him ask me with his hand reaching out for mine. His eyes sparkling with excitement and anticipation.

"Of course you can." I accepted and happily took his hand. The whole crowd started to cheer and they all went to ask their own partners for a dance.

Taehyung stood up and pulled me close to him and moved my hands around his neck.

"Woah, someone's missed me." I said while chuckling to myself.

"You've been away from me for a long time, Bae."

"You mean seven hours?"

"Each hour felt like a year." He said being over dramatic.

"You're so cheesy." I rolled my eyes at him. He was acting as if he was Romeo and I was Juliet.

"But you love me." He said resting his forehead on mine. His hands pulling me closer to him, making me feel every breath he was taking in and blowing out.

"Oh, I have a surprise for you at home." Tae blurted out, pulling his head away from mine.

"A surprise? Taehyung, you're so unpredictable." It was true yet dangerous. I'm just scared that if we let him drive on our road trip, he'll end up taking us across the border to North Korea saying it was a surprise. He'd claim that it would be a fun learning experience.

"I know I am." He said before pulling us apart and twirling me twice before pulling me back into him.

His mouth is now by my ear. My hair is a mess right now from all the twirling, and I'm struggling to catch my breath. All I can hear is my mischievous boyfriend laughing to himself.

"You enjoyed that, didn't you?" He said, smirking against my neck.

Pulling him closer to me, I playfully pinched his ear.

"I hate you."

"I love you."

"You're mean."

"I know."

"You don't understand my feelings."

"I know."

"Whatever you do effects me a lot."

"I know."

"Whenever you leave me, I go insane."

"I know."

"Whenever you're with me, I go insane."
