Irene's POV

The ceremony, as I expected, was boring. It was five hours of talking about how hard we barely worked and all of our so called 'achievements'. Seats were in alphabetical order, making me sit beside Jungkook. Everyone was talking about how they were happy to finally go to college while Jungkook and I were awkward with each other. I felt really bad for rejecting him right to his face earlier.

"Jungkook." I whispered while nudging him to get his attention.

"Yes Noona?"

"I'm sorry about what happened earlier. I shouldn't have been that mean to my favorite dongsaeng, I apart from Yeri". I giggled, trying to hide the shame that was hidden on my face.

"You don't have to be sorry. It was partly my fault that I asked you such an absurd question in the first place." He explained. "It would've been nice if you've said that nicer though."

"Sorry." I repeated rubbing my nape and putting an awkward smile on my face.

"Can I ask you something Noona?"

"You want to ask me more questions, still knowing how bluntly I respond?"

"Can I call you by your name and speak lower to you now? I'm sick of calling you Noona. It makes me feel awkward."

"Me too. I was hoping you'd bring this topic up earlier but you took your time... again."

"I always thought I was smarter than Taehyung- hyung but now I realize that's he's the smart one. He knows when to make a move." He said while chuckling.

"Trust me, he's not smart."

"What do you mean?"

"He wanted to get stuck with me. That's probably his biggest mistake." I said while laughing.

We were interrupted by a loud screeching noise coming from the mic on the stage.

"Please rise, to join us in the farewell ceremony of this year's graduates." Principal Kim said. It was the signal to tell us all to stand up.

"Will our graduates please move their tassels from left to right."

In once swift movement, everyone had their tassels moved.

"Congratulations, you've all just graduated from the School Of Preforming Arts!"

That was what Principle Kim managed to say before the venue was full of cheers and laughter. Parents walked up to their children, giving them big hugs and kept on repeating how proud they were if their children. That's when it hit me... I'm an orphan.

"What's wrong Joohyun?" Kookie asked me, emphasizing the Joohyun because it was his first time dropping the honorifics between us.

"Nothing. It's just, I have no family to lean on anymore." I said looking down. "I have no support."

"What do you mean? You have Taehyung hyung, your friends, Bangtan and me. We'll always be there for you." He sighed. "Even though my parents are healthy, they never come home or talk to me."

"Sorry to hear that Kookie." I said while patting his back.

"We finally graduated!" We heard Joy yell on top of her lungs. Jungkook and I walked towards her. Everyone we were close to was crowded around there anyways.

We approached our group of friends and I was immediately swept into the arms of Taehyung.

"We graduated." He whispered in my ear, pulling me closer towards him.
