It's 3am.

Michelle is sick again, and I'm sitting beside her in the floor.

"It never gets easier until it's over." she says, smiling weakly at me.

I tell her for the thousandth time, that I'm here for the remainder of the ride.

"You're a saint Tony." She said.

I smiled.

"Michelle?" Sarah called.

"She's sick again." I called back.

"I'll just go then." Sarah said.

"No, don't go anywhere, I'm fine. Just morning sickness again." Michelle said getting to her feet.

She wiped her face and blew me a kiss, "Go check on Madison please." She whispered.

I peeked into Madison's crib.

She was still asleep, hugging her sock monkey tightly with one arm, pacifier in her mouth and her other arm over her eyes to protect them from whatever light should attempt to shine on them.

Just like Michelle.

The older she got, the more I thought she looked like Michelle, who didn't agree at all.

I walked back into the living room, where Sarah and Michelle were sitting on the couch going over wedding plans.

Mike saw me and hugged me, "How's it going man?" He asked.

I smiled, "Things are going well. I'm really learning how to live this way." I said.

Mike laughed, "I'm still learning how to live with her, and I'm marrying her." He said smiling at Sarah.

"Mike, I'm going to ask her man. After your wedding, when things are calmed down. I'm going to ask her." I said.

He grinned and hugged me, "I'm happy for you man." He said.

"I love her. I've never loved anyone more in my life. She and Madison are the center of my life. I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I want to be 99 years old and still arguing with her over which ninja turtle is better." I said.

Mike laughed, "Michelle is a wild soul that needed taming, and you did that. I think we all want to see you guys arguing when you can barely hear each other." He said.

"Michael Angelo." I said loudly.

"Donatello!" Michelle shouted back.

I grinned at Mike, "She's my nerd. You and Sarah have Harry Potter, Michelle and I have Ninja Turtles, comic books and music." I said.

Mike nodded, "Common ground is a good thing." He said.

"Spiderman!" Michelle shouted.

"Batman!" I shouted back.

Mike shook his head, "As long as you're happy. We all support you. Especially Vic. God knows that seeing Michelle get married would be the perfect closure for him." He said.

I nodded, "He's a strong man. I couldn't do everything he's done." I said.

Mike nodded, "Vic knows what's best for Michelle and for Madison. He knows that they love you." He said.

I smiled.

Jaime.

It was three days later that news got back to me that Tony was going to propose to Michelle.

It made me feel small and lonely all over again.

Everyone had someone, even Vic, and I was all alone.
