Tony.
My mother was the one who told me the news that I was going to be an uncle.
I was really happy for Marisa.
Mom also told me that Marisa talked to Michelle because she was terrified.
I hadn't talked to Michelle since the day we left for rehab, and I really missed her.
It really hadn't even been a month yet, but even when I got out, she'd still be away.
I had a picture of us, taken not long before she got sick, and I looked at it everyday, to make myself miss her less, not that it worked, but it helped.
I was staring at it right now.
I just found out yesterday that I can write her letters, but I have yet to sit down and write one.
To be perfectly honest, I hadn't written an actual letter since I was a kid.
But it would be nice to hear from her.
I finally wrote her.
I sent it three days ago and got a reply letter today.
She's gained five pounds, and stopped hating herself for eating.
She says she loves me and misses me, and that she can't wait to see me again.
We agree that we miss the kids, and that we're ecstatic for Vic and Marisa.
She tells me that she has a roommate, and that the weather in Malibu is sunny everyday.
She says she'll write me every Thursday until I get out and can come visit her.
She sent me a new picture of herself.
She looks healthier and happier.
She's got weight on her limbs, and color in her face again.
I smiled when I saw it.
I showed it to John.
"Wow, compared to the first picture you showed me, she looks better." He said.
"I'm proud of her. She doesn't hate herself everytime she takes a bite. She doesn't fill the void of not eating by drinking excessively." I said.
Letters or not, this was going to be a long three months without seeing her, holding her, kissing her.
I missed her.
Vic.
I wasn't panicking over being a dad again, but I couldn't say that I was calm about it.
According to the state of California, I couldn't even take care of the son that I already had, and it worried me.
Marisa's mother was absolutely thrilled that her little girl was having a baby.
Today, we were going over to her parent's house to talk about the baby.
Her parents just so happened to be watching Madison and Adam for Sarah and Mike, because they were taking Luna to the doctor today.
I walked in behind Marisa, and her elderly short mother Janie ran and threw her arms around me in a tight congratulatory hug, "Congratulations sweetie!" She squealed.
"Um, thanks." I said.
"I have someone here who wants to see you." Her dad said walking in with Adam.
"There's my boy." I said.
I took him, "I've really missed these two." I said kissing his head.
"Vic!!" Madison squealed, hugging me.
