"I don't like that colour on you." I spun Rina around and looked at her carefully, green didn't go well with her light skin, maybe something brighter like a pink or yellow. "Hmm...bring me that hot pink dress over there." I motioned toward the fishtail dress I had bought for her as a sorry present for 'neglecting' her.
"I like it." She spun around and I zipped her up. She looked gorgeous. "Am I wearing this to see daddy?"
I frowned. "No sweetheart, daddy isn't back yet." I hated lying to them especially since thus just met Justin, but he yet again messed up and I couldn't take it. He kept humiliating me. "We're going to the beach remember?"
She looked behind her at Royale who had on a blue dress similar to hers and was eating a chocolate chip cookie while watching "barbie life in the dream house". "Is she even allowed to go back to the beach?"
Not this again. "It was an accident Rina, don't let Royale hear you talking about the incident or she'll flip. Now go grab a cookie while I get ready."
To be honest I didn't feel like going anywhere, I just wanted to stay home and eat a bunch of junk food while crying over Justin like one of those high school students that get dumped, I hated that I still wanted him to at least come back and apologise but I guess it wasn't happening.
I couldn't be bothered getting actually changed considering we would be in the water anyway so I wore my bra and a little bit of jewellery and a skirt, I packed some extra clothes in my bag for when we were coming home and grabbed my car keys.
The girls were the first out of the door and we headed toward the car and let me say that this ride was going to be something else, Royale had a thing for changing the music and talking ever so loudly while Rina loved rolling down the window and talking to people who rode by on their bikes, she also enjoyed singing to whatever song was on.
"And then she was like 'but I wove papa bear', like you can't wove someone if you keep pushing them away." Rina was watching the Care Bears on her iPad and chatting away to Royale whom for once seemed interested.
"Right, wike how annoying is that? Josh and I–"
What?
"Who's josh?" I gripped onto the steering wheel when I saw the beach come into view, next stop is to find some parking.
I could sense her blushing so I turned around and there she was whispering something in Rina's ear while they giggled childishly.
My girls.
"I'm still waiting for an answer." I pulled down my rear view mirror to block the sun and pulled into a parking space.
"Royals boyfriend! But they're on and off all the time." Rina answered for her earning a playful slap from her twin.
Hold up. How do they know about being on and off again? "You're way too young for a boyfriend sweetheart." I said dragging the 'way' and putting them down from the car. "And please don't talk about love anymore, you don't know what it is."
"I wanna know what love is!" Rina sang and soon Royale ended it for her.
"I want you to show me!"
I giggled. "You girls are amazing!"
The sand was extremely hot, like I don't understand how they could build a sandcastle in this weather, I on the other hand was relaxing under my big umbrella that I purchase last year while the girls enjoyed their time in the sun, thank god I put sunscreen on them or else they would be bacon.
That reminds me. I reached into my bag for my sunscreen and started to apply it onto my body, I felt like Beyoncé for some reason.
While putting my sunscreen back into my back the world somehow started to get dark, I looked up and instantly blushed.
A police office was standing there with a smirk on his face staring at me.
"Did I do anything wrong officer?" I tried to hide the embarrassment in my voice and tried oh so hard not to look up.
He chuckled, a very sexy chuckle. "Just enjoying the view, and might I add that it's a delicious one at that."
Oh well damn. Please arrest me.
