thirty seven

AN: sorry for not updating I started a new book if you want to read it :) but I'll try keep updating as much as possible!! love you guys❤️

I wake up in hunters arms. the best way to wake up in the morning. I turn to face him and just gaze at his beautiful face, his golden skin as pure as ever, a dash of freckles sprinkled upon his face. his soft hand sat on my thigh underneath the blankets. I grab a hold of it and intertwine our fingers. I look back at his face and his forest green eyes slowly flicker open.

"sleep well?" I say adjusting my croaky morning voice

"better then ever" he says giving me a little peck on the nose

"do we have to do anything today? I just want to stay in bed" I reply, snuggling closer to his warm body, laying my head on his chest. listening to his heart beat.

"Sounds like a plan, do you want to watch a movie?" he asks resting his head upon mine.

"yea" I say listening to the calm sound of the rain pattering softly on the roof. I feel the warm air escape between me and hunter as he releases our grip and picks up his computer from his bedside table, before quickly returning to the same spot.

we decide on a movie, I suggested A Girl Like Her. Hunter didn't mind so we chose that.

After about ten minutes into the movie I zone out. I listen to my thoughts that circle in my head. I listen to myself repeating how utterly grateful I am to be laying here in this amazing boys arms. I listen to myself repeating how happy he makes me, and how I don't need anyone else, I don't even know where my parents are anymore. But I don't need them when hunter does everything any parent could do. he provides for me, he cares for me, he loves me. and I love him. I listen to the sound of hunter saying my name "Y/n..... Y/n..... Y/N"

I snap out of my thoughts and open my eyes, was I asleep?

"the movies finished" he says giggling

"did I fall asleep?" I say... wow time went fast

"you sure did, and you missed out on me crying. what a shame huh?" he says laughing

"oh darn" I say in a sarcastic voice

he just laughs a sympathetic laugh and places his thumb on my chin, lifting it up, locking his eyes with mine. he places his gentle lips upon mine and I close my eyes, soaking up all of the passion and warmth hunter gives me. I love him so much.

"I don't tell you enough but... I love you Hunter Rowland" I say
