After school, I waited for Jai as usual by the courtyard and I saw this girl approach me. She looked like the girl who was in my Physics class. She had been glaring at me ever since I got out of the car this morning when Luke dropped me off. I swallowed, and took a deep breath as she crept towards me.
"Who dropped you off this morning, Andrea?" Brinlee asked as she stood in front of me.
"Uh, Jai's twin brother Luke...why?" I asked, kinda nervous. I really didn't know what she wanted with me.
"Can you not.. I dunno, talk to him?" I looked at her, stunned. I didn't know Luke was claimed property. "It's just, Luke and I had a thing and I would really appreciate if you don't try and butt in." I cocked my eyebrow upward and kept glaring at her.
"He's my friend, Brinlee. He drove me to school today because he didn't want me to walk to school today. It's nothing super big." I rolled my eyes and Jai came up behind Brinlee.
"Brinlee, fuck off. Leave Drea alone." Jai glared at Brinlee and she scoffed.
"Just tell her to leave Luke alone..." She said, turning towards Jai.
"Luke doesn't like you, how many times do we have to tell you that? He never liked you, it was all an act. He only did it so you wouldn't feel like no guy ever loved you and that you wouldn't get a boyfriend because of your whore attitude. Fuck off." He said and she shook his head.
"Whatever, Jai. You don't know anything." She stormed off and went by this boy who I didn't know. I looked at Jai and frowned.
"Sorry about that, Drea. Brin's just a strange girl. Always thinking she can have Luke." I nodded and looked down at my feet.
"I don't want me being the reason that Luke can't like have fun. I mean, we aren't even dating and we've already kissed and cuddled and hugged. I really, really, really like him Jai..." I said and looked up at him.
Jai smiled at me. "You don't know how excited Luke will be to hear those words from you, Drea. Believe me, Luke never shuts up about you." We started walking to his house since Luke wanted to hang out with me again and we just talked about Luke.
"He doesn't?" I beamed a smile and blushed slightly.
Jai nodded and kept smiling. "Yeah! He always says how if he texts you, you might find him creepy or something. But Beau and I always tell him, just do it! Because I know it'll make you smile."
"Well, he texted me last night and I didn't know who the number was so I got scared at first. But once he texted that it was Luke, I did smile." I giggled and looked at my phone, hoping there was a text from Luke. Nothing. Which made me kinda frown a little.
When we got to his house, Jai let me walk in first and I walked in to seeing Beau and Luke yelling at each other as they made a video. Luke stopped talking and looked up at me, smiling. Beau frowned.
"FUCK LUKE. NOW YOU JUST MESSED IT UP." Beau shouted and I frowned. Luke stood up, stopping the camera and went over by me.
"Hey you, how was school?" He asked with the smile still plastered on his face.
"Hey, it was good. Except this girl named Brinlee came up to me." As soon as Luke heard that name, he gave a weird look.
"Don't worry about her, she's a bitch and I cannot stand her. She thought I loved her, but I didn't. I kinda lead her on to believing I did." He laughed and I smiled at him. Beau got up and walked behind Luke.
"Who's this?! Is this Andrea!? Oh my gosh, hi I'm Beau." He held out his hand and I smiled, shaking his hand.
"Hi Beau." I laughed. "Nice to finally meet you." Beau nodded and smiled, pulling his hand away and went back over by the couch.
Luke looked at me and fiddled with his now silver lip ring. "C-can I talk to you in my bedroom, Drea?" He asked, nervously. I nodded and he took my hand, leading me into the bedroom.
We got in his bedroom and he closed the door behind us. "So... I have to ask you something.."
