Monday rolled around and I had school, which I absolutely dreaded. I had none of my homework done, due to the fact I was distracted by hanging out with Luke all weekend. I woke up at 5 in the morning to try and get everything done, but I couldn't get any of it done. I simply packed it up, and put everything in my book bag. I took a quick shower, then picked out a baggy sweater, black leggings and a scarf. I put my hair up in a somewhat decent bun, braiding a little section to tie into the braid. As soon as I finished my makeup, I got a phone call from my mom. I haven't spoken to her in a couple weeks.
"Hey mom!" I said with a smile on my face as I put my makeup away where it belonged.
"Hi sweetie! How is Australia treating ya?" She asked as I walked out of my bathroom.
"It's been going good! Just been trying to get all my schoolwork done and not being stressed." I said, sighing and sat down on my bed.
"Any boyfriends? Diana told me when she was there that you got a man under your sleeve named Luke?" I blushed slightly when my mom mentioned Luke. I don't think I remember ever telilng my mom about Luke..we had been dating for almost two months now, and I'm surprised I hadn't told her yet.
"Yeah! His name is Luke, he's a twin and he's super sweet, mom. He's definitely a keeper. Ten times better than Noah." I smiled, finding my boots.
"Well we all miss you back at home. Getting ready for school?" She asked as I nodded to myself.
"Yeah...Jai's taking me to school today I believe, otherwise I'm gonna take the local bus." I looked down at my nails and then at the floor.
"Okay, honey. Have a great day today, text me later, alright? I miss you very much. Please visit soon. I love you, bug." I smiled to myself and then frowned slightly.
"I love you too, mom." I hung up and put my phone on my bed. I really missed home like crazy and I wish I didn't move away for so long. I have been away from home for almost three months now and I coudln't believe I was away for this long.
Seven thirty rolled around and Jai wasn't here yet. I grabbed my phone and called Luke, hoping he was up.
"Hey babe.." Luke said all raspy which I was assuming he had just woken up.
"Hey, is Jai on his way? School starts soon." I heard Luke shuffling in bed.
"Uh....actually, he's not gonna be going to school anymore...." I rose an eyebrow and got up, leaning against my front door.
"What? What happened?" I asked, making my voice sound concerned a little.
"He got bored of school, thought it was stupid and my mum said he could drop out.. so that's what he did. He's not going to Penola anymore." I frowned a little. Jai was doing what Luke did.
"Oh...So, now what?" I asked so many questions, I felt like an idiot.
"I guess you gotta find another way to school, babe.. I can drive ya, but you know I don't like getting up so early." He chuckled and I nodded.
