I panicked. I knew I shouldn't, but Luke was my boyfriend and I cared about him. I want to be there with Luke, holding his hand. But I made the dumb decision to come home. It wasn't dumb at first, but now thinking it over, Luke needs me now more than ever. He's hurt, and I wanna be there to help him get better. 

I laid in my bed, restless. Couldn't sleep, I just wanted to hear that Luke was awake, not sleeping. I wanted to hear his beautiful voice that seemed to calm me down when I was over stressing myself. But, I had gotten nothing. I tried texting Jai, but he knew nothing. Gina knew nothing, neither did Beau. It killed me because I couldn't be there when I wanted to be. 

I finally just picked up my phone and called Jai. I needed to know how Luke was doing. 

"Hey, Andy." Jai answered and I sighed. 
"Is Luke awake yet?" I asked, sitting up slightly.
Jai sighed. "He is, but they won't let him use the phone yet to talk..I know how bad he wants to talk to you. The first person he asked for was you.." He said and I nodded. 
"Can you put him on speaker, maybe?" I asked Jai and I heard mumbles in the background. 
"Drea..?" I heard Luke's raspy voice through the voice, bringing tears to my eyes. "Drea you there?" He asked again and I nodded. 
"I'm right here, Luke..How are you?" I asked him, wiping under my eyes.
"I'm okay..my head hurts and so does my stomach.." He coughed and then groaned. "Are you home yet?" 
I almost lost it then. He wanted me home and he thought I was coming home. "No, Luke..I'm not home. I'm still in New York. I think I'm gonna leave soon, though."
Luke sighed, "You can't leave your home, your mum will be really sad.." 
"Luke, I need to be there for you. You're my boyfriend and you're hurt. I'll be on the next flight home, okay? I love you so so much." 
Luke took a deep breath. "I love you too, baby. So much. I miss you."
"I miss you too..." I said before I heard the phone line go dead. I got up and put my stuff back in my suitcase and went downstairs by my mom.

My mom was sitting in the living room with my sisters and I looked at them. "Mom...? I think I need to go back home to Australia. Luke is in the hospital, so I'm gonna leave tomorrow morning.." Mom looked at me all confused. 

"Hon, what happened?" I looked at her and teared up.

"He got in a fight and he was knocked out and he has a concussion and some bruised ribs." I frowned and mom hugged me. 

"Honey, you do what you need to do. Just let me know how things go.." She rubbed my back and I nodded.

I got to the airport and boarded my flight. The flight was going so slow, I just needed to get to Australia to see how Luke was doing.

The flight finally ended and I made my way to the hospital as fast as I could. When I got there, Beau was sitting in the waiting room. He got up and walked to me. "Hey, he's doing okay..he's just been in and out of sleep, Andy." I sighed of relief because he wasn't in a bad condition.

"What happened?" I asked, looking up at Beau.

"He was out with Jai and I, and like, y'know Luke, he likes to get drunk to have a good time. But he got a little too drunk and then started shit with our friend Andrew, and when Theo gets drunk, he gets aggressive. We told Luke to stay away from him, but he didn't listen so he got knocked the fuck out and now here we are, waiting to hear about his concussion results..." Beau sighed and looked at me. "But he's gonna be okay." 

I nodded, listening to Beau talk. "What room is he in?" Beau didn't say a word and walked me to his room. When I saw Luke laying there all tired and exhausted and beaten up, I felt so bad. I walked up to him and sat down in a chair, grabbing his hand. 

His head turned towards my direction and smiled all weak."Baby..." He said all raspy and I stroked his hand.

"Hi, Luke.." I kissed his hand and he sat up. 

"When did you get here?" He asked, looking at me. 

"Since like twenty minutes ago...? I landed and I instantly came here to see you. I didn't want you to be alone or anything and I knew I had to see how my boyfriend was.."

He sighed, and frowned. "But you were just in New York..I ruined your visit back home.." He looked at me and I shook my head quickly.

"You didn't, I'm gonna go back out there soon, just to be able to see my mom a couple hours was perfectly fine for me. I needed to come out here and support my boyfriend. He's hurt, and I'm not...I should tell you what happened but I don't want you to get mad.." I said, looking at him, still stroking his hand.

"What happened..?" 

I took a deep breath and shook my head. "Just...Noah showed up and he was being mean again.."

Luke groaned and sat up. "What did he do?" He asked with an angry tone to his voice. 

"Nothing, Luke...He just called me names once again and thought it'd be okay to show up to my welcome home party, which I didn't like at all.." I sighed, shaking my head. "I didn't wanna tell you because I knew you'd get mad, I'm so sorry.." Luke leaned over and kissed me lightly. I kissed him back and pulled away moments after.

"I'm not mad, baby..Just thank you for telling me. He didn't do anything else, right?" I shook my head and looked at him, pecking his lips. "Good, I love you." He said as I smiled.

"I love you too, a whole lot." I said with a smile on my face.

Jai looked over at us and fake gagged. "Ew, love.." He said, laughing. "Just kidding, you two are cute." He smiled and I winked at him.

"Should we let Luke get some sleep?" Gina spoke up and I looked at her, nodding then looked over at Luke. 

"I'll be back tomorrow morning, babe." Luke nodded and puckered his lips as I leaned over and kissed him before we left. 

Jai had his arm around my shoulder and I smiled. "You can stay at our house if you'd like, Drea.." Jai said and I nodded. "You can even sleep in Luke's bed." He laughed and I laughed too. 

We got back to his house and I went into the bedroom with Jai. Climbing onto Luke's bunk, I grabbed Luke's sweatshirt, slipping it on. It smelled just like him and I loved that. Jai looked up at me and smiled. 

"You really love Luke, don't ya?" He asked with a smile as I blushed and nodded. 

"That's a silly question to ask, of course I do. He's just perfect." I shrugged. "We haven't really fought like a lot yet, and that's good. It's way different than my relationship with Noah."

Jai nodded and listened to me talk. "Yeah, I see that. You're..much more open around him and don't like hide anything from him, I notice. You're just really willing to share your feelings with Luke. From what you told Luke and I kinda overheard about Noah, you seemed really nervous around Noah."

I sighed. "That's because if I made one little mess up, Noah would like go off the rails and get mad at me like overblown. It would get really annoying after a while too, because it would be the littlest things that would set him off, too." 

Jai nodded again and laid down on his bed. "Yeah, I like that you're with Luke. He needed a girl like you to keep him happy."

I smiled and laid back in Luke's bed, climbing under the covers. "Yeah, he's my perfect guy."

"And you're his perfect girl." 

I am his perfect girl. Perfect.
