"Since your current teacher will be moving, you will have to be moved into Miss. Los is class." my counselor tells me. It's barely September, but my current teacher is one of my favorites, I wonder what this new teacher is going to be like.
"Also, here's a note for Miss. Los. Bring this to her class right now and inform her that you will be starting her class tomorrow." I take the note and head to Miss. Los is classroom.
The class was quiet, other than the teacher talking about the lesson. Now, all eyes were on me. I was just standing at the doorway for a few minutes, feeling awkward to be in another class that was mostly seniors. After a few seconds, the teacher finally notices me.
"Yes dear?" she says, looking towards me with her glasses on the bridge of her nose. Miss. Los was a short elderly woman with a 50's hairstyle and a loud voice.
I hand her the note and tell her that I will be her Teacher Assistant(TA) for the rest of the year. I noticed some people in the class as I was looking around, one girl is my friend's ex-girlfriend and another girl that my best friend and I despise.
Miss. Los looks back at me after reading the note and tells me what I will be doing tomorrow and with that done, I left the class. I can't wait to tell my best friend, Claire about this new class. Miss. Los is surely going to give me more work than my previous teacher.
I head back to my current 4th period class, which I was TA for. I had to help my teacher clean the room, it was so sad seeing her leave. The day before, she told me that she was being laid off, she started crying to me. I wish she could stay because she's a really nice teacher.
I'm so nervous on what this new class is going to be like...
