Today was a pretty normal day except, for some bruises on my arm from a little jealousy.
Since Jax and I are starting to get a little flirty but friendly with each other, I found out that Destiny likes him! She's a tough girl and it would make sense for her to make a mark.
It all started when we were walking to class at the end of lunch and Jax gave me a hug before we split ways. Destiny saw it happen and got super jealous! The only way she thought of letting her jealousy out was punching my arm. The punches didn't hurt as much as I thought it would, but they still left a mark. She didn't hate me, we're still friends, but she was jealous. Since it seemed that we both liked him, we made a contest to see who can give him the most hugs, starting the next day. Stupid, I know but Destiny loves competition.
When I got home today, I tried my best to cover up my bruise with my shirt. During dinner, my mom asked, "How did you get that bruise?"
"Uhh, I was accidentally hit during P.E." I said nervously.
"Are you sure? Tell me if anyone is hurting you," she replied, seeming like she was on to me and that she knew I was lying.
"No, nobody is hurting me, I just got hurting during P.E." I tried to say it as calm as I can. Then, she just dropped it. Thank goodness! So close.
