"What's that?" I asked, as Tony, Mike and I walked along the cold streets of Denver.

"Oh, that's a wall that people sign when they come in, you know, just for fun." He laughed, pointing towards all the signatures.

"Why do you know so much about this place?" I asked, squeezing his arm around me, hoping to share body heat with him.

"Well, I lived here for a few years." He chuckled.

"Define a few years." I lauded as I looked up to him.

"When I was 11 to when I was 15.well at least the summers" He said, rubbing his hands up and down my arms.

"Why only the summers?" I asked, cocking my head to the side.

"Well, turns out the guy I called dad for 11 years wasn't actually my dad. My mom didn't want me to find out....and well I did accidentally. So she agreed to send me over to see him when I didn't have school. So I know a few things." He laughed as he held me closer.

"hey Jade....you look really pretty with snow in your hair." he smiled, brushing his thumbs across my cold rosey cheeks."

"i wish i was warm and pretty." i giggled, putting my arms into his coat and hugging him.

"well come on silly." he laughed, grabbing my arm he began to run down the street, pulling us into a small cofee shop a few minutes later.

"here, is this better." he giggled as we slid into a booth, leaning his elbows on the table as i stipped off my coat and tossed my scarf onto the edge of the table.

"your cheeks are red, looks like someone just smacked you." he laughed, his head falling back as he laughed at his observation.

I slightly scowled at what he was still laughing about, my face slowly melted back into a smile as i watched Tony laugh, his own face turning a rosey color at his loss of air.

"come on Perry! Breath!" i yelled at him, causing him to laugh harder.

"damn it man get it together!" Mike laughed as he walked in and pulled up a chair to the end of the small booth.
