I moved my hands around my face, grabbing at my hair, then turning to check myself, making sure i didnt look like had almost been crying a few hours prior to this meeting

"Tony, hurry and change your tampon or get out, you emotional bastard, i can hear you fluffing your hair from here." she softly chuckled before i heard her rest her head on the door frame, some kind of fabric brushing agains the door.

I let a laugh slip between my lips, shaking my head lightly before i rested my hands onto the edge of the counter, looking into the mirror before i answered her voice.

"I- uh, I'm coming to the door, sorry I was trying to put on my clothes" i fibbed, leaning over to open up the door for her, her head still resting on the door frame, her eyes closed, her eyliner smudged half way across her temple, and some down her cheeks, a thick black line below her eyes from watered down mascara.

'fuck, I did that.' i muttered, looking at her face, her eyes slightly puffy.

"what did you say?" she asked, her voice cracking slightly from where she hadnt talked in hours.

'uh, nothing, can i clean off your face before we talk though?' I asked quietly, placing my hand on her bicep.

"what, are you saying I look ugly right now?" she shot back, looking at me with a hurt expression.

"no, thats the last thing i'm saying baby, I- it just sucks to be able to see how much of a dick I was to you." I sighed and helped her up onto the counter.

I turned around to grab her makeup remover wipes out of the cabinet as I heard her suck in a deep breath,

"Don't call me baby Tony, I still need to talk to you." She spoke cooly.

It felt like she had just stabbed me in my throat, I choked on my spit while I attempted to re-gain my composure, my hand slippling off of the handle to throw my arms into the air, my coughing soon subsided, and I grabbed the plastic container of wipes, turning back around to her, her eyes looking to the ground.

"you do realize youre going to have to look up for this, into my eyes, into my forehead, or to the ceiling, i dont care where you look, as long as it's up." I sighed, knowing my face was the last thing that she would want to see.

She rolled her eyes and looked over to the side of my head, more than likely looking out of the window and thinking of all the places she would rather be than near me.

"Hey, I'm done so you can go back to ignoring me now." I scoffed while I turned around to leave her room so I could gather my things so that I could leave her alone for as long as she wanted.

"Wait Tone, don't leave yet." She sighed and got off of the counter before she looked up into my eyes, tears lining up on her waterline.
