Mike and VIc made me walk back over to Jade's apartment in the rain. I guess that was the least of my punishment, considering I would have to look at Jade crying and Jaime fuming in a matter of minutes.
I finally looked up and saw the sign for her road. I stopped for a minute to drag my hands across my face, wiping off the rain only to have it replaced a few seconds later.
"fuck. its pouring." I sighed, leaning against the pole for a second before I took off in a sprint to her house.
As I brought my knuckles up to tap on the wood I couldnt hear a thing, not a tv, not Jaime, nothing. i'm not sure if it was releaving or terrifying
Finally the door swung open, a defeated Jaime standing in the door way. I cautiously stepped inside, looking over to a sleeping Jade on the couch, her chest rising and falling slowly with every breath, a deep crease in her forehead from the frown that I had caused.
I sighed at her apperance, and wished that I could walk over and wrap my arms around her tiny body, removing the frown from her mouth, and the crease from her forehead.
"She's been sleeping for almost 2 hours, and if you wake her up I will kill you so don't even think about it Perry." Jaime warned as he shoved me inside the house, shoving the door closed behind me.
"I smell like wet dog." I sighed, sniffing the soaked hoodie that was clinging to my skin, the water dripping down onto the floor mat.
"Maybe because you're a bitch." Jaime mumbled as he walked past me.
"what was that?" I asked wondering if he'd repeat it.
"Nothing, just go change, god knows you have clothes up there." He sighed, and sat down on the seat across from Jade, his hand rested on his palm.
I quietly walked up the stairs, trying not to wake her up as I walked into her room, grabbed out a pair of basketball shorts and an old Led Zepplin shirt I had left here a few weeks ago.
I grabbed the clothing and shuffled across the hall to the bathroom, quickly stripping down from my dripping clothes. I tossed them all into the tub, including my shoes to dry before I ran a towel over my body, covering up with the clothes that I had sat onto the counter.
I sighed and looked into the mirror as I used the towel to dry of my soaking wet hair and body.
After I had successfully dried off my body and hair, and dressed myself I took a moment to look in the mirror, my eyes looked dead, my mouth fell into a frown, and the bags under my eyes were bad, I looked like I had gotten my ass kicked in a fight.
I moved my eyes around my body in the mirror, picking out my flaws.
'I sound like a fucking teenage girl.' I thought to myself and chuckled a little bit.
I was suddenly taken away from my thoughts as a small knock came from the door, followed by and equally as small voice spoke a sentence before the whole house fell silent again and my heart was racing and my palms were sweating.
"Tony? Are you in there?"
