One Week Later

"So she's here, for real this time?" I asked my sister who was bouncing her fussy infant, she nodded and reached over for the diaper bag, only making the whole thing drop on the floor.

"Good god." I muttered, she looked at me with an irritated look and then back down at the bag.

"Can you hold her please? I just need to organize this so this doesn't happen again!" She scoffed, I stammered for a second and felt her place the screaming baby in my arms, fluttering me.

"Okay, okay, don't cry, you're okay, oh god you won't stop crying." I said rocking her uncomfortably in my arms, she then opened her eyes and stared up at me, her crying ceasing.

"Hey thanks, you're so beautiful." I whispered, swaying back and forth with her smiling up at me, her face making my heart uncomfortably warm.

"Wow, she likes you." Zelena exclaimed, I nodded and moved over to her, waiting for her explanation about the Queen.

"She was going to kill me, she has all of the memories that you do, just not the reason, the only reason I'm alive is because of that girl Henry was dating. She stopped her from crushing my heart and somehow convinced her to let me go!" She exclaimed, making my confusion even more deep.

"How is she? Violet?" I asked trying to comprehend this relationship, she pursed her lips and sighed at me.

"I tried to help her escape but she refused, it's like she wants to be there, but she's scared, it's hard to explain but that's what it looks like." She said sadly, confusing me even further.

I stormed into the Queen's room and sat down in front of her, giving her a hard glare, only making her smirk back at me.

"I told you about me now I want to hear about you." I demanded, making her eyes darken with rage, nearly chilling me to the core. She growled and went to form a fireball but then relaxed, sitting back in her seat.

"It was my mother, I was eighteen, well, Regina was eighteen, and she was in love with a certain stable boy named Daniel, and the stupid little girl thought that she could love him without mother's approval, but just like she always had she manipulated things, and Snow White found out about Daniel and told my mother, she then captured.... me and Daniel and killed him, that's when I took over, when I started poking my face through, and the kind woman disappeared and I was born. I'm dark and evil because I had no choice, when Regina split us she made it impossible for me to be remotely humane, believe me, I wish I could escape all this, but it is my nature to react this way, it's not second nature, this is how I'm wired, with Regina you had the chance of her snapping, but if I get upset I have to kill something, or obliterate a village, I can't talk my feelings out at first, I need someone like you to make me realize what I'm doing so I don't mess everything up! I need a new kingdom of people who don't know me, and you to keep me in line so the people can love me as a ruler." She explained, her eyes now turning more sad than evil, making me relax a bit.

"You didn't have to kill my father though." I said bitterly, she sighed and smirked at me, her smile laced with disappointment.

"Did you not hear a thing I just said, of course I did, I'm the merciless queen, I am heartless woman who can't love, so yes I did have to kill him." She said sadly, waving her hand to the door, trying to get me to leave her alone.

"I don't think you're heartless." I admitted, making her perk up at me, a look of hope gracing her face.

"What?" She asked cautiously, I smiled softly and nodded, my heart hammering in my chest. "I think you tell yourself that to try and hide behind your guilt and justify what you've done, but I know you're hurting, and you want someone to love you, that's why you kept me, not so I could be your princess, but in case your plan fails at least you have me." I said slowly, she stared me down and got up, yanking me to my feet and throwing me out of the room.
