Thirteen

"Uhh now what?" I asked.

"Well we were just on the news, we're very successful now." Hayes joked as I playfully smacked him.

"No seriously, what do we do now, change our looks by a car so no one will see four sixteen year olds drunk on the side of the road wondering: hey maybe that's those four sixteen year olds who ran away from home?" I said as I took a hit of my cigarette and blow the smoke in Hayes face for saying that stupid remark earlier. He started to cough making us laugh and he flipped us off.

"Well how much money did we all bring then?" Ethan asked. I checked the duffle bag and took out a big chunk of money so did Hayes, Ryann, and Ethan.

"If we blend all this together then we can by a car" Ryann joked around saying.

"Wait Ryann what?" I said jumping up. She flinched thinking I'll hit her.

"We can combined this and by a car?" She repeated herself, I smiled and nodded.

"We but a car with this money, this is like a couple thousands if not millions all together" I said, they faces lit up with excitement. But we soon frowned.

"Where's the closest car place?" Hayes asked. I thought for a while.

"Not sure, let's find one though" Ethan suggested, we nodded I mean that's all we could do pretty much, is walk and walk and walk, and I don't think we could walk all the way to a bus stop to get dropped off to got to another bus stop.

We got up from the spot we were sitting and walked back to the city of North Carolina which wasn't really far, we got there soon enough though.

"this is it guys" Ethan said as he jumped over the gate blocking the highway from the city. We began to run across the street before any cars could come. My feet were throbbing by now.

"Can I ride your back?" I asked Hayes he nodded and bent down, I jumped and landed on his back. He followed Ethan and Ryann to the entrance of the car place. we went over  to the counter. We started to get all of the money together and gave it to Ethan since he was talking to the person.

"Oh my god this is taking forev-" I was cut off.

"Hey you guys ready?" Ethan said as he shakes the keys in his hand. we got up and walked over to him.

"We're crazy for buying this" I said to myself, but of course they heard me and agreed,  we walked to the car.

"Wow, this is so cool" Hayes said studying iced the car.

"Hayes you idiot it's the same car at home" Ryann said. Ethan got in the new car and put the keys in the engine as it started.

"I'm going to sleep now goodnight" Ryann said before. she rested her head on me, I shoved her causing her to wake up.

"Get off me" I said, she gave me a dirty look.

"I'm so hungry can we go to like In-N-Out?" I asked as I checked the time on my phone, it was close to four.

"Sure whatever" Ethan groaned as we cheered in the backseat.

"You see now that we have our own car we can go anywhere we want, no strings attached" Hayes said making me smile, he leaned in and kissed me as Ryann punched my arm.

"Get a fucking room" she covered her eyes.

"Oh my god shut up we all know you and Ethan did the nasty not too long ago" I said back making Hayes laugh.

"If y'all don't stop fighting I can and I will turn this car around" Ethan yelled over out fighting.

"Yes sir" we groaned,

"Wait can we drink in here?" Ryann asked holding up the bottle of vodka Ethan shook his head.

"You can smoke in here though" he said making our frowns turn upside down. We took out the box of cigarettes and lit them we gave on to Ethan as he blow out the smoke Keeping his full attention to the road.

"California here we come!!!" Ethan screamed out the window, we cheered Ryann and I stuck out hands out of the moonroof screaming and yelling.

"This is going to be a crazy life, sister" I said as I swung my arm around her taking a hit of my cigarette and pasted it to her.

"Very" she blew out the smoke laughing.
