Thirty one

It was close to eight o'clock.

We texted some of our friends and they said they were coming. We decided since only two people knew how to surf we should try it and they teach us.

"Ok let's go!!" I screamed in excitement and ran out to the car and got in the back, Nate and Ethan came out with a cooler cause of course we brought drinks.

"Alright let's get this show on the road." Hayes yelled driving we cheered with him and blasted Music in the car.

We speeded down the road to the beach. It didn't take too long for us to get there a few of our friends were there as well. The smell of cigarette smoke hit my face making my eyes water,

'Don't' I thought fighting back my idea of smoking. I have to go atlas the three hours of not smoking. All of our friends were there and I saw only one person I knew which was mahogany the rest were unfamiliar faces.

"Hey you guys this is my older brother Sky, and this is my friends Jazz, my boyfriend Carlos, and this is Carter, Sam, and Connor" she introduced everyone, they waved and we said 'Hey'

"Hi. I'm Hazel, and this is Ryann, Ethan, and my boyfriend Hayes" I said smiling, some on the boys facial expressions fell. I tried to ignore it and focused on something else.

"Y'all ready, cause if not I'm going to through you in" Sam laughed as we did too. We sat down our towels and ran towards the water. As my feet hit the water my whole body got numb as I felt cold.

"Aww you guys look, Hazel's cold" Connor said as everyone looked at me.

"Yeah yeah so funny" I said rolling my eyes until Carter ran over to my and picked me up throwing me in the water, I felt my body hit the water as I began to shiver and held on longer, Carter kept hugging me and picking me up bridal style.

"Let's go surfing now, i brought enough boards" sky said we agreed, and got the boards and walked back to the beach, we all had our own I was scared cause I've never done this before.

"Someone needs to teach me, I don't know how." I laughed. We all began to run towards the water, sky and mahogany were the best at it as they taught us everything we need to know.

Everyone took a turn as we went down a line watching everyone go. Hayes ran back out of breath but with a big smile on his face.

It was my turn, and I was the last to go.

"Go babygirl, it's fun" he said, I stuck my tongue out at him and ran towards the water as I began to hear them cheer my name.

I swam with my board and waited for a wave until a perfect one came I did all of the steps and instructions sky and mahogany taught me, before I knew I was doing it, it was an amazing experience cause I've never done it before.

"WHOOOO" I screamed as the wave vegan to die out and I swam back to sore.

I was soaking wet, as everyone laughed,

"Oh my god that was so fun" I said as Hayes picked me up and spun me around, then Carter did the same.

"You guys we brought drinks" Ryann cheered, her and Ethan both ran to the car to get the cooler as we waited for them to come back.

Ryann pov.

"Hayes isn't being himself, am the only one who noticed that?" Ethan asked as he took the cooler out if the truck and I took the other side.

"No." I said and walked back with Ethan.

"Why's he acting like that" he said right before we saw Tez and Carlos start to do a Bon fire. Jazz came over and help us fill red cups with the alcohol we brought.

"This is like all we drink" I heard Hazel yell as we agreed with her.

Hayes pov.

I'm trying to ignore the fact that haze and Carter are being around each other and getting really close, I know it's not really my right to say who she's going to hang out with and who's she's not but I feel like she totally forgot I was here the only time I actually hugged her she was down surfing.

"Hey Hayes can you tell Carter I actually did have more them ten drinks at the party last night" Hazel came over with Carter. Of course how's it all about Carter.

"Yeah she did" I said through Clenched teeth and walked away.

"Hey babe. What's wrong with-?"

I snapped. "Oh what's wrong?! What's wrong with me, nothing, Hazel what's wrong with you?! You've got a fucking boyfriend and you're all over Carter, seriously? How do you do that. It's bad enough  kissed another girl and made you sad let alone you're doing it too me?!" I said to her face looking her straight in the eye as everyone looked over and watched us.

"What? Hayes I'm not doing anything I'm just talking to him" she said back trying to defend myself.

"Shut the fuck up, Hazel look at you. You've got your fucking arm around him. I'm sorry but I can't have a girlfriend that's going to break me down and leave me in pieces" I said with tears forming in my eyes,

Hazel pov.

My heart shattered when I know what's happening next.

"Hayes please. Don't do this, Hayes I'm sorry he's just a friend I swear. Hayes don't." I begged crying he shook his head with his lip bit and looked away from me.

"Hazel, I know. But you're breaking me inside" his voice cracked.

"Hayes please don't" I begged one last time before something in him snapped and he made a fist with his hands.

"HAZEL YOU'RE A SLUT I KNOW WHAT YOU'VE BEEN DOING STAY AWAY FROM ME! HAZEL BAILY GILINSKY I NEVER EVER EVER LOVED YOU NOR WILL I EVER! IM DONE WITH YOUR FUCKING BULLSHIT! ITS DONE" he said.

"I'm sorry" I said before running away.
