Twenty

It was nine and we were getting out swimsuits on.

"When does the pool close?" I asked getting a towel. They shrugged.

"We'll figure it out when we get there" Ryann said opening the door and walking out, we followed her. As closer as we got we heard music playing, I followed it, we made it to the pool and the music stopped.

"You guys heard it right?" Ethan asked we nodded and then the music started up again, we turned a corner and people that looked our age jumped, danced, screamed, talked, and swam in the pool with drake playing in the background. Someone tapped my shoulder.

"Oh my fucking god, don't do that you scared me" I said out of breath she laughed and apologized.

"I'm Emma, and this is my friend Andrea" she said as a girl with long brown hair walked over.

"Oh hi, um I'm Hazel and this is Ethan Hayes and Ryann" I pointed to them as they waved.

"So you're having a pool party?" Ethan asked and they nodded. We smiled.

"You guys should so join, it's so fun here and most likely be more fun fi you guys hanged with us" Andrea said twirling her hair looking at us, we agreed to go with them.

"We brought drinks as well" Emma said smiling, we nodded.

"Want some?" Andrea smirked, we nodded. We won't talking much cause we just met them but I think we will get along well. Emma poured some drinks in the classic red cups as we drank it.

Soon enough we were all drunk and jumping in and out if the pool. I walked over to Ethan and Ryann who were make gout with each other.

"Where's uh where's, you knowing where's Hayes?" I said sitting next to them throwing the red cup.

"I don't know he was with Andrea last time we saw him" Ethan said out of breath I nodded and rolled my head back. I took out a cigarette and lit it I pasted it to Ryann then she gave it to Ethan as he gave it back to me.

"Oh he's over there" Ryann said pointing, Hayes was sitting down in a chair next to a fire pit with Andrea on his lap, she leaned down and kissed his check as he pulled her closer and kissed her.

"Ohh wait Hazel you didn't see" Ethan said covering my eyes, I removed his hand from my eyes and looked at what he was doing and what she was doing which tour me apart. I got up and got my stuff

"Where you going?" Ryann asked.

"Out." I said as I put on my bape jacket, they nodded.

"And also I need the keys to the car" I said slurring my words, Ethan took them out if his pocket and through them to me, I thanked him and walked away out if the pool party. I went back to the room to get out of my bathing suit and put on leggings and a crop top.

I walked out of the hotel room again and walked down to the lobby. I pasted the counter and walked outside taking a hit of my cigarette and walked to the car.

I unlocked it and got in driving out if the hotel parking lot. I looked for the closest bar even though I'm sixteen and not twenty one yet I just need time alone with my mind off of things.   I thought of what I was doing and where exactly a bar would be.

'He doesn't care too much if he's cheating on you' I thought to myself, I rolled my eyes and stopped at the stop light, I messed around with my hair as the light turned green.

I Finally found a bar as I pulled up to it. I got out of the car and put the car in park, I took a deep a breath and walked up to the entrance of the place.

Not many people were there. Which was good.

"Hey um can I get two drinks, please?" I asked the bar tender he nodded and got the drinks ready for me.

"Thank you" I said to him as I drank some of it, I took out another cigarette and lit it again. I could feel the lump in my throat start to form as I let a tear slip.

I finished the first drink and went for another, the more drinks I drank the more tears came out and more of negative thoughts came running through my head.

I had enough with the drinks and I walked out leaving a tip. I opened the door and left walking to the car, I opened the door. I climbed in starting the car and putting my seat belt on.

"You're okay you're fine." I said to myself running my hands through my hair, it didn't work cause I kept crying making my vision blurry from the tears. The red light was a blur but I managed to tell if it meant stop or go. I stopped and cried with my head up against the window.

I heard my phone go off as my phone lit up with a text massage.

Babe, where are you? - Hayes

I didn't answer I picked my phone up and stared at the screen as a tear fell on the screen, the light turned green again, as I drive off again passing the hotel.
