I couldn't utter any words right at that moment.
He's looking far ahead of me when I was just inches away from him. It seemed like the world had stopped before me and all I could hear was his music. I even recognized it - it's It Might Be You by Stephen Bishop. His taste of music was really good. But back to the real business...
"Jace?" I said your name as if it's going to sting me if I say it too fast.
He just raised an eyebrow but his eyes' gaze never landed on me. He's still looking from afar.
I waved a hand in front of his face; he didn't blink.
"Oh, my gosh," I said but all to myself. My hand went up to my mouth and I didn't know what else to say.
He's blind.
