Dedicated to Haminabe for making me proud - X
Mrs Wilson, Chase's cook opened the door to welcome me into the home. "Hi Sweety, You must be Annabelle! I'm Mrs Wilson. Chase is just working in the studio. Come, let me fix you a drink" she moved her large soft arm to the curve of my back and ushered me through to the kitchen.
As I sat at the kitchen island bench, I watched Mrs Wilson make her way graciously around the kitchen, stirring pots, checking the oven and preparing food on the counter. She was a round, warm, humble lady who made you feel like you were family the instant you met her. Her blue eyes brightened her soft face as her rosy cheeks balanced her pale skin. Soft, brown curls curtained her face beautifully and caused me to imagine her at home with her family wearing a hair net and curlers before making her way to work for the day.
I smiled as I watched her cooking Chase's meals for the next two days. There was enough to feed a school of children, but I imagine that she would rather him have too much, then not enough.
"Bad day Sweety?" she asked as I wondered how she knew. "You have sad eyes" she stated, as if she could read my mind. "Oh, it was okay" I breathed before taking a sip of the sweet caffeinated elixir she had prepared for me. "Well Sweety" she continued "I have learnt to live by the saying 'it's just a bad day, not a bad life'. Remember that tomorrow is a new day and the sun will shine on you once again".
Her words instantly brought a smile to my face, this time causing my eyes to also smile in her direction. "That's better!" she exclaimed. "Now, are you hungry? You are aren't you! Look at you! Skin and bones! I'll make you something special to fill that tummy!".
I smiled larger, just being around her made me happy and gave me a feeling of warmth, like I was home again watching my mother prepare dinner and fuss over me which served to make her happy more so than me.
"You're not giving away those family secrets of yours are you Mrs Wilson?" Chase chimed as he entered the room. My face instantly lit up as my eyes took him in. He stood in the doorway wearing a simple white t-shirt with blue jeans. No matter what he wore, he would take any woman's breath away just by looking at them. He did just that, as he made eye contact with me and flicked a small smile in my direction, my heart melted in my chest.
Chase walked over to one of the pots that had a bolognaise sauce bubbling within. He took the wooden spoon that was sitting in the pot and moved it to his lips. "Ah ah ah!" Mrs Wilson wailed as she slapped his hands away from the cooking food. Chase now laughing at her reaction. "Out out out!" she exclaimed through smiling eyes as she shooed him with her dish cloth. I could see why he says Mrs Wilson is the best cook in Beverly Hills, more for her motherly presence than any food she could possibly prepare.
Chase laughed at Mrs Wilson like a little boy would at his mother when he is in trouble for being cheeky. He ran from the stove top to where I sat at the other side of the island bench and took my hand without stopping. Like a whirlwind, I was spun around from my seat and pulled from the kitchen by an excited Chase.
As soon as we were around the corner, away from Mrs Wilson's view, he pushed me against the hallway wall and held my hands above my head. Looking deeply into my eyes, he smiled as lust filled his sight. Slowly, he moved to kiss my neck until I was weak at the knees struggling to continue to stand. He made his way up my neck to my jaw, kissing and sucking until he reached my lips and devoured my mouth sensually with his kiss.
"Get changed" he ordered, between soft kisses to my lips.
"Into what?" I asked, not really interested in doing anything other than what we were already doing.
