Safe to say things changed after Riker's wedding.My brother became softer after he got married.He is away calmer in our meetings with the parliament and that's good but I'm still waiting for his calm bomb explode and I hope that's not when my wedding will happen.

After Riker's wedding,me and Ellington have been closer.I like to get out of my office and sneak into his room to observe him work.He is always so concentrated.He is also very serious and its a huge turn on.I don't normally see a serious side on Ellington like everybody else does.

I know things in Dandelli are not good those days.Ellington has long calls,he works over night with Rocky.I know the parliament from there hates the idea that their only heir is in a foreign nation for nothing since our wedding hasn't happened yet.But they forget it's not that safe in Dandelli at the moment and we are protecting Ellington,not stealing him from his 'responsibilities'.

So,Riker surprisingly gave us a good idea.A polo match and the ambassador of Castell will be here.We need to show people that the alliance is strong and also show the Dandelli Parliament that Ellington is not wasting his time here.

'You got the instructions?' Rocky asks us as we have a meeting all together.

'I'm not stupid,Rocky.' Ellington complains annoyed.

I need a breathe of fresh air.I like to think what me and Ellington are trying to have here is real but Rocky and my Mom standing here and telling us we need to act more 'in love' is actually a stab in my heart.

'I need a moment.' I say getting up.

'Rydel...' Ellington says but I'm already outside of the office.

I almost run back to my room.Sometimes it's frustrating how the princess life kills any possibility of anything in my life being spontaneous,normal.It truly sucks.I get inside my room to find Courtney and Katherine.Kat is an old friend.She moved to the countryside years ago and now she is back to substitute Savannah as my maid.I can't have my brother's wife serving me.

'How's the meeting?' Courtney asks and I breathe high as I sit down in the chair in front of my makeup table.

'I take that as you loved it.' Kat points out sarcastically.I look in my reflection in the mirror.

Sometimes I think I'm strong and independent enough to do whatever I want.I feel powerless when people tell me to do stuff I feel uncomfortable doing.Before meeting Ellington,I could care less about my feelings.I never met someone special that shakes my heart.But now? I want to be completely honest about my feelings but the princess life has to interfere.My Mom is the regent and if she tells me to do something to protect Abemia,I must do it.

Sometimes,I have real thoughts of becoming the Queen already.But I'd have to wait another year until I'm 25 years old or I'd have to marry Ellington.

The second option is not that hard.But I'm not marrying just the Prince.I'm marrying the person.I want to build a relationship first like my brothers did.Guess that's not an option for me.

'Rydel?' Courtney says taking me away from my thoughts.

'Yes?' I smile at her.

'I have a dinner date but Kat is staying with you,ok? I'll be here in the morning to help you prepare for the match.' Courtney smiles.She looks anxious for meeting up with Ross.

'Actually,I want to be alone so you two go have fun.' I say looking to Kat standing next to Court.

'You sure?' Katherine asks surprised.
