Honeymoon Avenue

~Prince Ellington~

Me and Rydel have been married for a whole week now but it seems like we have been together our entire lives.Sometimes I forget we are even royals and that we have responsibilities when we come back to the castle.

I decided Rydel would plan the honeymoon.All the places I thought we could go are in a place of war now so there's not a chance we could go there.But Rydel being Rydel decided she wanted to go to a place she hasn't gone in a very long time.

First,I complained.It is a very long drive and I was not down for a boat trip then a drive by car.But I hate to admit,I loved the place as soon as I saw it.Our ancestral used to talk this place Paris.It is certain poetic.And now it is Abemia territory.

'This will always be my favorite part of the kingdom.' Rydel tells as she lends me a cup of coffee.My wife figured it out I hate tea.

'I'm glad you're happy to be here.' She sits down next to me and I put one arm around her shoulder pushing her close.

'And you? Do you like it here?' She asks looking at me with those puppy eyes.

'I like being away from all the palace madness.' I reveal rubbing her hair.I discovered it's one of my favorite things to do.The new intimacy is bringing me new feelings I wasn't aware I could even feel.It is this burning rage thing that makes me wanna be by her side all the time.

'But at some point we have to go back...you know,my cousin is marrying your brother and...' She starts but I stop her by giving her a quick kiss.

'Just breath,Rydel.Let's not worry about anyone but ourselves.That is the whole point of having a honeymoon.' She looks at me with those big hazel eyes and I almost let her keep on taking about the castle.This woman has a whole convincing power over me.

'You're absolutely annoying,Prince.' She jokes laying her head in my chest.

'If I'm not mistaken,you're the one who suggested a trip as husband and wife.Not Prince and Princess.' She rolls her eyes at my words.I can't help but laugh.How can someone be so adorable?

'If I'm not mistaken,when you married me,I became a Queen.' She sassies me which makes me wanna laugh.

'You become the queen of my world in the day of our marriage.' She smiles at me and I lend in kissing her cheek.

'You're such a smooth talker.' She smacks my chest jokily.

'Never heard anyone complain.' She raises her eyebrows at me in complete annoyance.

'You men are disgusting! Your wife doesn't wanna know about women opinion on you.' She gets up picking the cups.It is so hard to make such a confident woman jealous I take huge pride.

'Sorry,honey.Come here.' I open my arms and make my best puppy face.Obviously it is not as charming as hers own.

'I'll check on the cookies.' She tells as she walks to the kitchen.

'I've got a great wife in bed and a cooker? How did I get so lucky?' I ask exclaiming which makes her laugh.

'You will die not believing how lucky you were!' She exclaims.This castle halls are huge so Rydel won't hear anything I say now if she is in the kitchen so I follow her.

I get in the kitchen and observe as she decorates the cookies.Could you imagine? The Queen of one of the biggest kingdoms in the world is making cookies.Rydel couldn't be more normal and it's one of the things I love the most about her.

'Do we really need to go back to the castle one day?' I make my presence known.She smiles at me and lends a cookie.

'I can get used to this as well.' As my wife kisses my cheek,I think of what might be happening back in the heart of Abemia.We will sure be back to a more chaotic version of our new reality.

~Duke Rocky~

While Rydel and Ellington left for their beautiful and calm honeymoon,I had to stay so while the prince was having some good time with his new lady,I'd deal with his annoying new brother in law.And his walking problem brother.You know,just another normal day in my life.

Ryland and Ross are working together to get a better army now that the nations are united.King George went back to Dandelli but not without giving me orders that I should report everything directly to him.I obviously said I would.I mean,I'm sending letters with reports but I never said when.

With Ryland working with Ross,I was left to work with Riker.The dude is an amazing person but give him some responsibility and he becomes an enormous pain in the ass.Like seriously,Savannah is going straight to heaven if she has to deal with that in a daily basis.

Ohh,and there's Benjamin.Now that Ellington is married to Rydel I think he figured it out one thing : he has no way out of this marriage with Lori.It is going to happen and by how things are running,it will happen faster than planned or even imagined.

The only thing,or better person,who's not stressing me out is Katherine.It is like when I'm around her I get a lot calmer.I have discovered that if we have breakfast together,I have a much better day.

'Ellington called.' I inform Ryland as we walk down the halls in the castle.

'Yeah? How's his trip?' Ryland asks sassily.

'Even his voice is glowing.' Ryland rolls his eyes at my comment which makes me laugh

'I cannot believe he is getting laid on a regular basis in another particular freaking castle in one of the most beautiful cities in all kingdoms with one of the most beautiful women that has ever set foot on this Earth while we are here dealing with his annoying brothers.' Ryland's comment makes me laugh even harde.Laughing to not cry.

'We should get going...the new maids coming from Dandelli are set to be arriving at any moment.' I make no comment.I hate to admit I agree on every word.

When we arrive to the front of the castle,the first thing I spot is her beautiful red hair and beautiful smile.Now I understand when Ellington says the sight of Rydel's hair makes his day a thousand better.

'You have got to be kidding me.' Ryland takes my attention.I was so distracted observing Katherine that I didn't even see the car arriving,let alone the people coming out of it.

But when I do,I wish I could unsee,if that even exists,what I just saw.

'Who chose the fucking maids,Rocky?!' Ryland exclaims.He should be nervous and so should I.And so will Ellington when he sees who are the new maids which will be working with his wife.

'King George himself.' I barely find words.I just observe the new girls talking to Courtney and Katherine.

'So King George himself chose our ex girlfriends to be maids of Ellingtons new wife?!' Ryland's question is completely rhetoric but yet I respond.

'Yes.' A new problem to deal with.

Ellington and Rydel are all cute and stuff while there's a HUGE bomb waiting for them when they return! And I'm not just talking about their ex's.
