Royal People Problem

The morning after my engagement was a huge disaster.Benjamin was found and let's say,it was not in the best situation.He was caught in the walk of shame out of a room.Half necked.My cousin's Lori room.Who's also a princess.

Yes,he is screwed.

Needless if say Ellington is beyond furious.Queen Cheryl already came to me and asked for Benjamin to go back home with her after the wedding.I sincerely don't know what to do.Mom,as a greater helper,decided that all the kingdom's problem will now be solved by me.

'Call Prince Ellington...He will be part of this audience.' I tell our Royal counselor,Peter.He has been here since I was a baby.My dad trusted him implicitly.

'Rydel,it's an Abemia problem.' Riker points out and I look at him.

'It's a Dandelli problem as well,Riker...We need to be friendly.I am marrying the accused's brother.' I explain.My brother sighs discontent.

'The prince asks to meet you before the audience.' Peter informs me.

'He's outside?' I ask and he nods.

'Rydel...' Riker tries but I open the door and see my fiancée standing there looking angry as ever.Benjamin was not send to the cells,as in respect,so he is here outside.

Ellington looks up from his brother and to me.Rocky is by him,looking like he could kill someone.I have never seen that look on his face.

'The Prince and the Duke are allowed inside.' I say and Rocky looks surprised.Ellington looks down at Benjamin then up at me before getting inside completely angry.

'Where's Ryland?' I ask Rocky as he passes next to me.

'He went to visit the cells...He is completely mad at Benjamin so he wants to make sure he is pretty locked up.' Rocky explains and I hold my urge to laugh.Benjamin really pissed everyone off.

I close the door and breath before turning to have this conversation.It is pretty annoying that we have to go through this after our engagement.In the morning after.

'We have an audience already set for Benjamin.' Riker says and Rocky looks at him with his eyebrows raised.

'We came to talk to the princess.Not her spokesperson.' Rocky says to Riker.Ohh,I have never seen someone face up Riker like that.

'I can guarantee you that it changes nothing.' I look at Ellington.He is definitely angry but he is oddly quiet.

'It obvious changes how the other kingdoms see the princess Lori.' Peter says and we all look at him.He is not helping my situation.

'There were rumors before.' Riker points out.

'Rumors are false stories until proved the against.' Ellington finally speaks.I look at him and he looks at me with a look I cannot describe.

'Everybody leaves...I want to speak to Prince Ellington privately.' I don't look at everyone as they leave.When I hear the door close yet again,I stepped close to him and picked his hand.

'Sweetheart...' I start but he interrupts me.

'I understand if you want Benjamin out here.' He says like he's rehearsal it.

'I want us to decide it together.' My words surprise him.

'Why would you -- why would you wanna talk to me first?' He seems surprised.He held my hand tight and stared at me.

'We're getting married...I don't want to decide anything behind your back.' I explain and he smiles shyly.

'Can I decide then? What will happen to my brother?' He asks me full of hope.

'Yes,you can...Just don't be unreasonable.' I let him know.Lori is still my cousin and she is the only daughter of my uncle Leonard.

'I promise you that Lori and Benjamin will get what they deserve.' He says wrapping his arms around me.

'Your Mom wants to take him back to Dandelli.' I say and I can see the smirk on his face.

'Benjamin dies if he comes back to Dandelli...Dad will send him to war and he is just to ready for it again...He stays,that I can guarantee.' My fiancé informs me half his plan.I'm only worried about Lori.

Uncle Leonard is coming back for the trial.He's the only remaining family from Dad's side of the family.He and his children are the only ones left and the people of Dandelli love them.It is the real royal family as they say.I hope Ellington takes a wise decision.

I wait for uncle Leonard to arrive in the front of the castle in the day of the trial.I told Ellington to not show up until it's needed.Uncle Leonard is not actually known for being a calm person.

'Rydel,dear,what's going on?' Uncle Leonard asks as he arrived.

'Uncle,I am doing everything I can to help Lori...She just didn't help me by putting herself in this situation.' I explain to him as we walk down the halls of the castle.

'I was informed Prince Ellington asked for a deal.' Uncle Leonard seems confused.

'It involves his brother,uncle...and I'm marrying him.I let him decide.' I say and he stops abruptly  before we get in the room.

'Rydel,you're marrying into an alliance.Not into being a subordinated.' Uncle Leonard is so drastic sometimes.So dramatic.

'Uncle,please,if you can't respect my decision then we are going to have problems.' I have a straight face on.I'm the new administration.If he can't respect,then he better go to the countryside.

'Let's just see what the little prince does.' Uncle Leonard opens the door and gets in first than I do.Uncle Leonard just needs to understand I'm the new administration.

Lori is wearing black.Dramatic as ever.I look at Benjamin and he looks apprehensive.I'd be too if I were him.Ellington has been locked inside his room thinking about what to do.I'm learning things about him everyday and it tells a lot about his personality that he is thinking about his decision well.Analyzing all the consequences.

'Since my brother is trying desperately to get into the Abemia royal family,I have came up with a rather nice solution.' Ellington starts and it hits me.No,he wouldn't be that harsh to Benjamin.

'I suggest you to get a suit,Benjamin,you are marrying the princess Lori.' Ellington smiles at his brother who wides his eyes.I look at my uncle and he seems satisfied,for my surprise.

'You can't do that.' Benjamin finally says.

'Rydel,cousin...please.' Lori is crying.Should have thought that earlier,little cousin.

'It's been decided.' Riker defends Ellington's decision.Is my brother defending Ellington?

'You're ruining my life.' Benjamin yells at his brother.

'You've ruined your life,brother...Its either this or war.Decide!' Ellington exclaims getting closer to him.Benjamin backs up and storms out of the room.War is definitely worst than marriage.

Now,I have to focus on my wedding.If Benjamin lets us.
