I hate feeling played by a situation.So being ambushed and shot with that lending me to almost being killed,I'm feeling completely embarrassed.And angry.If I see that ambassador again,killing will happen.

When I woke up,Rocky told me things in the castle were tense and I should have a serious conversation with Rydel.It looks like she made huge changes here.Benjamin,for one,is kind of pissed.

'I'm Ryland's new puppet.' Benjamin exclaims.

'Why?' I ask my brother.

'Because he was a jerk to Rydel and she was done with the bullshit.' Rocky explains.

'Then I don't see why I should go against my fiancée...I swear Benjamin,if you were an annoying ass to Rydel...' I start getting agitated which makes those ridiculous machines pop up.

'Man,calm down...you just got shot!' Ryland exclaims making me lay down properly.

'Yes,I know.I was there.' I point out ironically.

Rocky started a speech on how I should take God for being alive.And how Riker took care of the ambassador and that worries me because Riker's means to take 'care' of someone is well known and well lethal.

Then the door knocked and Ryland asked Benjamin to answer.It has got to be the greatest punishment someone could've thought for Benjamin.Be someone's puppet when he loves to make people his puppets.

'Princess.' Benjamin answers showing inside the way to Rydel.My heart lit up when I see her.

'Why don't you leave us alone for a minute?' I look at Rocky quickly and he nods taking Ryland and Benjamin along with him.

The door closes and Rydel approaches my bed.I make a sign for her to sit down next to me.She sits down next to me and takes my hand.

'Are you ok? The doctor says he took all off the bullet...' She says seriously concerned.

'I'm fine...I'm just ready to get the freak out of here.' I say and she smiles.I might only have spent a little amount of time with Rydel but I know when she is trying to hide something.

'What happened?' I ask her.She smiles weakly at me.

'Our enemies...they are getting stronger.' She looks at me and takes a deep breathe like she is building courage to tell me something.

'Yes...I kind of noticed.' I try making a joke but she doesn't smile or giggle.She just stares at me seriously.

'I think we need to rule,Ellington.Assure the alliance.Make our enemies realize that we are just as strong.' She is shocking me.Rydel never showed any interest on getting married until now.Alliance would have to wait.Why change?

'You wanna get married?' I ask the obvious just to make sure.

'We can try and jump all do the ridiculous unnecessary flirt.I like you...a lot and I believe you like me too.If we give it a try,love will grow.' She has a spark in her eyes.Like she already planned all of this and she only wanted me to say yes.

'I need to think or just talk to someone...It is a lot you're asking me,Rydel.My dad is not dead and I'd be your prince...' I say and she nods like she was already expecting it.

'I'll wait for your answer...I'll be prepared for both answers.' She guarantees me.I just need to talk to Rocky first or I'll explode with all the info.

To my surprise,Rydel lends in and gives me a quick kiss.To her surprise,I put my hand in her arm and kiss her deeply.The kiss breaks and I wish it had lasted longer.

'I'll give you some time to rest.' She says before storming out of the room just like she got in leaving me some important things to consider.

The next day,the doctor says I'm ok to leave the emergency room and go back to my room.I tell Rocky and Ryland the plan Rydel told me.Surprisingly,they both agreed with Rydel.That must be a first.Ryland and Rocky agreeing to the same thing.

'I have never seen someone so determinate and stubborn my entire life.' I exclaim to my friends which makes them laugh.

'What?' I ask annoyed.

'So you haven't been looking at mirror?' Ryland jokes and I give him the finger.

'Rydel is faithful copy.She completes you and you complete her...Be grateful,ok? You have an amazing woman and she is willing to help save your nation.' Rocky points out.

'And she is a princess to another nation,an heiress...Bro,you can do much for Dandelli once you become Rydels husband and therefore,she will be Queen.Imagine,you'll be the husband of the Queen of Abemia.' Ryland exclaims excitedly.

'Ellington,this is the alliance,ok? Unfortunately you and Rydel can't fall in love by conventional ways because you're not a conventional type of people.You're royals...you have a great blessing and that's why you have to do great sacrifices.' Rocky says and I breathe high.

Why am I thinking about this? I came here to confirm the alliance.And in other to do so,I have to marry Rydel.It is not like she is an awful woman.She is beautiful,smart,funny and out going.I can see myself loving her.Although I don't know where we stand,I know I have strong feelings for Rydel.

I gave myself to recover.Have one hundred percent sure of what I wanna do.This is a serious decision.Royal people don't just get divorced.We have to stick up and just solve it.Marrying Rydel is life changing in many ways.

I wake up determinate of my decision.I get dressed and head down the hall to Rydel's room.I knock on the door and breathe high.Katherine,her new maid shows up.

'Prince Ellington.' She seems surprised.

'Miss Katherine,may I speak to the princess?' I ask and she nods stepping back so I can come inside.

'Ellington?' Rydel seems surprised to see me.Courtney pushes Katherine inside Rydels closet and closes the door.

'Are you ok?' Rydel asks and I nod with a smile.

'I'm sorry that I can't get down on my knee to my Queen.' I say and she raises her eyebrows.I nod and she smiles jumping on me for a hug.

Right now and then,I knew I made the right choice.
