Brothers after all

~Queen Rydel~

Siblings are the strongest bond one can have.Riker and Ross are everything I had when our father passed and we were there for each other.Now I'm using the bond as a strategy.Ellington needs Benjamin and my child needs a father.

'Ross will be heading back after two weeks of Benjamin and Ryland arrival.' Rocky tells me as we head down the halls of the castle.

'Ryland's arrival should help Ellington a lot.' I look hopeful at Rocky.I know he's not happy he's sending yet again another one of his best friends.

'You know,you and I should speak of your relationship with Katherine.' Rocky looks at me and takes a deep breath.He knows at some point he should ask me for authorization to date Katherine.

'Katherine and I are still talking...' He starts but I stop and look at him.

'Ellington mentioned you dated Alexa,my new lady and now she is back.' I start but he interrupts me.

'I love Katherine,Rydel.I am hot having second thoughts...I just don't think it's an appropriate timing since my prince is at war.' He explains.I forget sometimes that Rocky is a Duke and his actions should be diplomatic.

'Well,I approve and I'm sure so does Ellington but you know this diplomacy thing better than me.' I tell him.After everything Rocky has done for the both of us,the least me and Ellington can do is approve his relationship.

Ryland almost begged me to go with Benjamin.I know I couldn't just send the king's son without any proper reason.So,having a general go and so another part of the army should be a solid excuse.

'I need you to keep it a secret.' I look at both Ryland and Benjamin.

'What?' Benjamin asks me rather angry.

'Understood.' Ryland is more comprehensive.

'My brother has the right to know he'll be a father.' Benjamin exclaims.

'Lower your voice.You are speaking to the queen.' Ryland reprehends Benjamin.

'I'm speaking to my sister in law! My brother has the right to know he'll be a father.' Benjamin exclaims.

'Your brother,yes.But my husband and future king has to survive this war! Benjamin,your brother can't know I'm pregnant because he'll think it's ok if he dies because I'm protected by his heir.But I'm not and nor is his heir...He will know once he comes home.' I'm rather harsh but sometimes Benjamin confuses the Monarchs with his relatives.

'Most important thing is win the battle and come home.' I stare at both and Ryland nods agreeing with me.Benjamin just walks away getting in the car.

'I'll protect your secret and I'll try convince him to come home earlier...I know Castell and Leminia generals who are in this battle.They like rather long ones to tire the enemy.' Ryland says and I smile grateful.

'Thank you.' He smiles and walks away also getting in the car.

Here I am sending another part of my family to war.This needs to finish.We had a rather long war without winning and conquering nothing at all.

~Prince Ellington~

Rydel is sending another part of the army which includes Benjamin and Ryland.Having another general such as Ryland is great.He is a good strategist and those generals from Leminia and Castell are such an asses.They love long battles.

I'm also glad he's coming because we get very little news from the castle.I only know Rydel had a flu and stayed in bed for days a couple of months ago.I know Rydel and I know she wouldn't stay in bed for a thing such as a flu.They are lying to me.
