"You... Killed Yuki? What? No, you didn't. That was the White Fang terrorist movement, not you." Yang argued. Yang's Amber eyes scanned the shadowed Rei, watching his every move. When she thought he was about to run from her, leaving her again, she jumped forward incredibly fast.
Rei's eyes widened. Yang enveloped him in a hug, a familiar embrace when it came to the two of them.
"Calm down. I have no idea what you're talking about, but you didn't kill Yuki. Alright?"
"But I did. With my own two hands."
----
Rei slept soundly on his bottom bunk, reclaiming his territory as soon as they returned to their dorm. Yang watched the slight rise and fall of his chest, and soon her mind drifted to their conversation earlier.
"I'm sorry about earlier. About how I freaked out." Rei said, his emotions in check.
"It's fine. Why did you act like that again?" Yang asked bluntly.
"I'll tell you that later. But it's also a side-effect of my abilities. I am now unable to hold my emotions in check at certain points in the day."
"Yang?" Ruby called as she entered the dorm room.
"Oh. Rei's back!?" Ruby shouted wth excitement.
"Shhhh, he's sleeping." Yang hushed her voice down.
"Oh. Sorry." Ruby said sheepishly. "Is he going to participate in the Vytal Festival?"
"I'm not sure. He doesn't have a team anymore." Yang commented, for once bringing up a brilliant point.
"Yeah, he doesn't... Does that mean he'll enter the singles pracket?" Ruby asked, oblivious to her incorrect pronunciation.
"It's 'singles bracket', dolt." Weiss proclaimed in an angry tone as she entered the dorm as well.
"Weiss!" Ruby happily chanted as Vale's heiress walked to them.
"Weiss? What are you doing here? Isn't your-" Yang began before she was cut off.
"Isn't my father here, you mean? Yes, he is. He's outside our dorm room, actually." Weiss said in a matter-o-factly tone.
"Wha-? Weiss!" Yang hissed.
"What? What did you expect me to tell him? That I'd be going back to my room without my teammates? That I live in a dorm room alone?" Weiss shot back, her voice also in a hiss.
"Well, yes actually." Yang commented.
"Well, you're more than happy enough to go out there and tell him your self!" Weiss shouted angrily. She was very surprised as the sleeping male awoke and answered her dare.
"Guess I will." Rei said, slapping his knees and getting off his bottom bunk.
"Wait! Rei, are ya sure about this? Seeing your father again, I mean." Ruby asked in a concerned tone. Rei turned to her and smiled.
"More than ready." Rei said as he opened the door.
----
"The hell did you do that for!?" Yang screamed as Rei sat in the park with the rest of team WRRY. Or the old team WRRY, at least.
"I see nothing wrong with what he did, Yang. If I had the courage, I'd have challenged our father to a duel as well." Weiss stated simply.
"You stay out of this! This has nothing to do with you!" Yang shouted, her hair blazing and her eyes red.
