"Why does Rei want to eat an immortal poison?" Blake questioned.
"If I am correct, he is hoping for the powerful poison to counteract the two poisons within him. The chances of that happening are very slim, I'm afraid." Popsin replied.

Qrow walked out of the cave, bloody yet somehow alive. In his arms, he held an unconscious Yang. Qrow's arm throbbed violently, as the now-dead Demon Spider had managed to cut at his left arm. His right thigh had a deep gash, but that wound wouldn't matter much.
"Un-Uncle Qrow?" Yang's weak voice croaked.
"Yeah, it's me Yang." Qrow replied, shooting on of his signature smiles.
"Th-thanks for saving-.. me." At this, Qrow's face faltered.
"I didn't save you. Ruby did." Qrow said after spotting the little red girl.
Behind her, the dust now settling, the Demon Spider was lying on its back, dead from the multiple scythe wounds Ruby had inflicted.
Ruby had, single-handedly, killed the Demon Spider.

Popsin and Blake had left Qrow's small cabin in search of the Pneuma Flower. The Pneuma Flower was a bright yellow rose, with the center containing a light blue substance. The petals of the rose, on the outside at least, were dotted with red.
Popsin had given Weiss a flare, in which she would fire the flare into the sky should she need help. Popsin's eyes constantly went to the sky, dreading the moment the flare would be spotted. He really hoped the flare wouldn't be fired, as they needed a rest.
But then the sky lit up with a bright yellow and red mix, indicating the flare was fired.
"Master Rei! Mistress Weiss!" Popsin shouted, sprinting towards the cabin.
Something was wrong, obviously. What would make Weiss fire the flare? Why did she? Were they in danger, or was Rei's condition worsening?
Popsin was going to find out.
And he wouldn't like it.
