"Well hello," sabi ko sa lumabas na notif sa personal view ko. When mayor said I have to find this class, he really meant it. Recluse is a huge metal garbage dump. Walang tao, walang monsters, but scrap metal. Scrap metal everywhere. It has been two weeks and finally my search paid off.
You found a Rare Class: Engineer
Do you want to take this class? Class cannot be reset without a class reset coupon from the Grand Merchant's Shop.
Yes/No
"Of course, yes." Sabi ko at nagconfirm naman ito. "This adventure gets too fast. Maybe some PvP and then log-out."
May lumabas na dalawang notif. Yung isa ay nagsabing pwede na kong sumali sa mga Link Games, at ang ikalawa ay... secret lang muna. Haha.

"Loaf, tara na?" sabi ni Ryd. Agh, I really need to change my IGN. When I created that gahddarn username, akala ko madali lang magchange name in-game. Never have I been so wrong.
"Ok," I stood and went to the door, "And about the merc—"
"Loaaaaf!!!! Bad news!! The merc!! The merc!! The—"sabi ng babaeng papalapit samin. Good thing she was shut up by her buddy beside her.
"Shut up, Cr1ng," sabi ni Pr3sh, "expected naman eh. Who would want to face a magic-resistant hammer user? And what's more, top 7th sa SEA ranking?"
We are about to go to a team 5v5. And since apat lang kami sa group, we need to hire users, and even residents, to fight with us in a game. And unluckily, the enemy is the much feared 'Anti-Mage' GreyShorts and his team Meso. They are the most notorious mage killers in the whole DRAGON game. So, the hired merc backed away at the last moment.
We need support. My guys are a hefty bunch of attackers, one a full-blown mage, the other is a dual shield wielder, and the other is—just someone with a weird class. I myself is a magic-type dual sword user, but even my heal aura cannot keep up with the team's HPs.
I was pondering over that thought when may napansin akong pumasok na user sa barracks namin. I can't see who she is, she's currently wearing a black box over her head, but I know a woman when I see one. Also, the watch embedded in her wrists clarifies that she's a Rust.
"Ano..." panimula ko. Shet, how do you talk to someone about running towards instant death? "Can you... uh—"
"I was informed you need another player in your team." She bowed. "I'll be temporarily in your care."
"Whoever informed you is one hell of an angelic messenger." Ryd tried to hold her hand. She humbly refused. "Okay, I like you. Welcome to the CloverLeafs."
"The first rejection of the week." Cr1ng mused. "What class are you, if I may inquire?"
"Engineer."
"I don't know how that class works, but le go." Pr3sh said and looked out to the arena. "The people are waiting."
The battleground is an octagonal field with a 1.5 kilometer radius. The two camps are set farthest from each other. This is a team death match, meaning the team that will reach a certain amount of kills (15 this match) will be considered victor. And that's almost it. Tumunog na ang speaker ng announcer.
"Hello DRAGON!! Let us not waste time on vocal nothingness!! Let me introduce to you the team that will fight to death—and respawning—in this bloodied battleground!! On the right side, the Mage-killers of DRAGON!! Please welcome: Mesopotamia!! And their champion: Anti-Mage, GreyShorts!!"
The crowd went crazy as the celebrated hero entered the arena. At kami naman dito sa kabilang side ay nag-aapoy na ang mga mata namin. Except the boxhead Rust na hindi ko makita ang expression sa mukha.
"And to the other- er- side!! The luckiest Team so far!! But will their luck run out today? Please welcome: the CloverLeafs and their champion, Asura of the Living Earth, Ultim8Loaf!!"
Well the crowd isn't that bad.
"Ladies and gentlemen, you might want to start preps. Five minutes until battle time." And the announcer finally shut his mouth.
"So, this could be the worst fight we will have." I started. "And siguradong ubos ang funds natin dahil sa t@ng1n@ng bet na yan."
"It's ok dude, I can beg on the streets, you know?" Ryd. The overly unamusing clown. Walang natawa. Walang umimik ng halos sampung segundo.
"So you think we'll lose right away?" the boxhead asked. Everyone looked at her.
"Nope, we won't leave this arena without the fight the people wanted." I grinned.
"Okay. The team fitted for a fight, alright." She opened her inventory and pulled out a weapon. "You might need this."
"A-Asura's Heralds?" they gasped. The legendary weapon that the beta testers lost in the process. The single weapon set I wanted to have when I chased the title. Dafaq are these swords doing inside the boxhead's inventory?
"And this. Mana packet for the mage, Energy packets for the Attackers, and the Heal packet for the defender if you have one." She handed them all to Pr3sh, which in turn handed them to their respective users. "I'll do the fire support from behind." She stood and looked up at a nearby tree.
"But how did you get this swords?"
"Will the mana be enough?"
"Support from behind? You sniper or something?"
"What weapon would you use anyway?"
"Guys, just trust me," She stopped the question bombardment from us. A huge hand-wrench materialized in her hands as she started to climb the tree. She paused midway and looked down on us, "I'm an engineer."
