jungkook: hey areum, how are you?

me: i'm so sorry i couldn't make it today.

me: i promise i will make it up to you..

jungkook: you don't have to make it up to me, i understand.

me: can you send me a selfie??

me: you know since i wont see you today..

jungkook: i'm a little nervous so my hands are shaky..

me: aww jungkook, don't be nervous

i placed my phone down on the bathroom counter, and looked at myself in the mirror one last time.

my hair was in loose waves, i wore more make up than normal, and i actually wore a dress. it was a white, knee length, flowy dress. it had thin straps so i wore a maroon cardigan on top, and i accompanied it with tan flats.

i grabbed my phone and walked out of the bathroom.

jungkook: that's easy for you to say

jungkook: you aren't the one who's graduating

jungkook: oh man holy shit

me: what??

jungkook: it just occurred to me that i'm graduating?? and i'm gonna go to college???

jungkook: I'M NOT READY TO BE AN ADULT HELP ME

me: you'll get over it. i felt the same way.

jungkook: anyways i have to go! i'll text or call you after okay?

me: okay! have fun, jungkook

i walked out of my hotel room and to the elevator. i press the button for the first floor.

when i arrived at the school auditorium, the first thing i did was look for jungkook's parents. they knew i was going to surprise jungkook, and they helped me hide it from him.

i spotted them and they had an empty seat next to mrs. jeon.

"areum, sweetie, you look so beautiful!" mrs. jeon hugged me.

"thank you.. you do as well!"

"aww stop it!"

"good afternoon, mr. jeon."

"good afernoon, areum." he sent me a warm smile, which i returned. his smile perfectly resembled wonwoo's. or wonwoo's smile perfectly resembled his father's.

when the ceremony started, their principal gave a speech. she then proceeded to call up the students to receive their diploma.

"jeon jungkook..."

he walked up the stairs, to his principal, and received his diploma.

he scanned the crowd for his parents, but his eyes met mine. his eyes widened. i sent him a smile and he returned it.

he was going to walk away, but a photographer stopped him and took his picture. he returned to his seat.

when the ceremony ended, the principal announced that the students could go meet their parents and leave the school grounds. 

i saw jungkook fighting through the massive crowd of students. i laughed to myself.

when he finally got through, he just stopped and stood in front of me.

"surprise."

he latched onto me.

"i thought you weren't coming."

"i just wanted to surprise you."

we pulled away and i saw him wipe his face.

"jungkook, are you crying?" i laughed, and he soon joined in.

"uh yeah, i guess i am." he wiped his face again. "i really wanted you to be here, and i was so disappointed that you weren't. but now that you're here.."

he hugged me again.

"they're happy tears don't worry!!" we all laughed.

he hugged his parents, who were also crying.

they gave him an envelope, which i assumed was his graduation gift.

"hey, that reminds me, i didn't get you a gift. but i guess letting you stay in my house is good enough." jungkook and i laughed.

"yeah, that's a pretty good gift. by the way, areum, you look really beautiful."

i blushed and looked down. "thank you, jungkook."

i went back to my hotel, and jungkook went back home with his parents.

we were both going to fly back on sunday, since his training started tuesday.

just in case you are confused: yes !! all of this is related to the story in some way and no !! i wont say if areum is gonna end up with jungkook or not lol ;)

+ idk how many more parts there will be, but this book is coming to an end !! it is a lot longer than i expected it to be lol, i was originally planning to end it after areum found out from the doctor that wonwoo died in the crash but i thought that'd be very rude so i decided to be nice and add some twists like wonwoo's younger brother and some other stuff i aint gon talk about ;)
