"hey jungkook- wait, what the hell are you doing??" areum walked in his room to start a conversation, but to her surprise she found him packing his things.

"i'm moving in to my hyungs' dorm.." he didn't spare her one look as he continued to pack his things.

"you're moving out..?"

"yeah. why do you care, i'm clearly not needed here anymore.." he still never looked her way.

"what do you mean you're not needed here anymore?" she was genuinely confused. then she realized.

her faced dropped. "jungkook. just because he's back doesn't you're not needed here.."

"to me it does. areum, there's just something you don't know-"

"if you think i'm gonna ignore you now that he's back, you're wrong. you're so wrong."

"i don't think that."

"then what do you think, jungkook?" her tone came off as angry, unintentional of course, she just didn't understand why he was just packing up and leaving all of the sudden.

he finally looked at her.

"it's obviously something with wonwoo, you weren't acting like this a few days ago.." he turned away again.

"so it is something with him. what's wrong?"

"you're right, it is because of him, but i can't tell you why."

"why not?"

"because it's nothing."

"c'mon, just tell me."

he grabbed the two bags he had packed and walked out of the room.

"it's easier for me to just forget about it." at this point, he was practically running down the stairs, areum falling shortly behind. when they reached the bottom of the steps, she grabbed his arm to stop him. she used all of her strength to turn him around to face her.

"jungkook, stop!" the tears threatened to fall from her eyes. "please, don't go. just tell me what's wrong and we can talk about it and sort things ou-"

"won't you just give it a rest?"

"no! because i don't want you to leave, okay? i know it's probably easy for you to just pack up and leave but-"

"you think this is easy for me?"

"no..maybe..i don't know! i'm just so confused. why are you leaving all of the sudden?"

"you wanna know why i'm leaving?? fine. i'm leaving because it isn't easy for me to be around someone i love every single day, knowing for a fact that i can't have them."

she just stood there.

"jungkook, i love you too but-"

"areum, you know damn well what i meant.."

"i-"

"i just can't keep sitting around, allowing myself to get hurt.. i won't.."

her grip on his arm loosened, before she allowed herself to completely let go of his arm and let hers dangle at her side.

he spared her one last look before turning to the door.

"wait.." he turned back around when he heard her soft voice.

she wrapped her small arms around his waist. he was shocked at first, but by reflex he dropped his bags and wrapped his muscular arms around her tiny frame, hugging her so tight that he was probably hurting her.

it was in this moment that jungkook felt he would cry. he wouldn't allow himself to do so in front of her, but he knew that as soon as he was alone, he would. saying goodbye to her was hard. sure, they would definitely see each other again, but it just wouldn't be the same anymore. moving out of her house was the last thing he wanted to do, but he knew that it was best for them.

but jungkook knew he would get over it... eventually..

YOYOYOYOYO IT'S OVER IM GONNA CRY

honestly thank you guys for sticking around for this long and kduohg i just love you guys a lot and hope i didn't disappoint any of you with the ending but !! there are 3 parts left before the book is like completely over, an epilogue and 2(!!) alternate endings and i still might have a few more tricks up my sleeve for you guys ;) but all in all, thank you for reading 'messages' and for all the nice comments you guys left: i really appreciate everything you guys have helped me accomplish I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH

+okay so like just a little author's note but i have a surprise for you guys and i'm like really excited to say what it is, but i think i'm gonna wait just a little longer to tell you guys;).. but when y'all find out i hope you will be as excited and as hyped as i am!! love you!!
