"i think i'm gonna go." his let me out of his grip and turned to the door.

"wait."

"what??" he turned back to me.

"jungkook should be home soon.. he needs to know you're okay, and he needs to hear it from you."

"j-jungkook's here..?"

"yeah, he's been living with me for about a year since he's going to college here.. he's been there for me all this time.. c'mon, come sit down and we can wait for him."

we sat down in the spots that we were in before. we just made small talk while waiting for jungkook.

a few minutes later, the jiggling of the doorknob was heard.

"areum, where are you?" the door slammed. "i'm so pissed right now and i just really need to talk abo- h-hyung..?" when jungkook rounded the corner into the kitchen, he stopped in his tracks. his eyes widened.

wonwoo got out of his seat and ran to jungkook, and hugged him. jungkook's face was visible to me and i could see the tears that streamed down his face.

"h-hyung... i missed you so much." jungkook hugged wonwoo tightly.

"i missed you too, kookie." despite the tears that continued to flow from his eyes, jungkook smiled and laughed.

so 1 more chapter, an epilogue, two alternate endings(since i couldn't decide on one), and a super secret surprise i ain't gon talk about ;)
