"excuse me," i catch my breath. "did you guys accept the patients from the plane crash?"

"yes ma'am, we did, but you will have speak with the doctor. he's down that hall." she pointed down the hallway to my left.

i muttered a barely audible 'thank you' and proceeded down the hall.

at the end of the hall, a man in a white coat stands talking to a man and a woman. i stand at the end of the hall and wait for him to finish.

"excuse me, doctor, can i talk to you for a minute?"

"hello, i'm doctor lee." he held out his hand to shake, and i shook it.

"the plane crash victims are here, right? do you know if there is a jeon wonwoo here? he was on the plane and i-"

"ma'am, please calm down. i can't guarantee if he's here. if you walk with me please, i'll check the files."

i follow him down a different hallway and to a door with a label that said "dr. lee".

"ma'am, if you would stay here, i will look through my files." and disappeared behind the door.

the more i think about it, the more that i have no idea what i'm going to do if wonwoo isn't okay. he is the only person i have right now. if i lose him again, i have no idea what i'm going to do.

"ma'am," dr. lee reappeared from behind the door. "i'm afraid jeon wonwoo was not admitted to this hospital after the crash. there is no evidence he was ever even checked into any hospital. i'm sorry, but jeon wonwoo has more than likely passed away."
