"Lucy!" Fred called out to Lucy, his best friend since year one. "Fred!" Lucy turned around to see her two best friends, Fred and George Weasley, running towards her. They had just gotten back from Christmas break and Lucy had to go with her parents to Italy, so she couldn't stay at the Burrow. Lucy started running and when they finally reached each other, they all jumped into a hug.
"How was your Christmas?" Lucy asked Fred and Geroge as they walked to the Gryffindor common room. "It was great! How was yours?" George asked. "It was pretty amazing, but it would've been better if you two goof heads were there." Lucy replied smiling. "Wow, we feel so honored!" George exclaimed, pretending to be flattered. "Fred, you're pretty quiet today. What's up?" Lucy asked.
"Oh, nothing, I'm just tired." Fred lied. "Okay well, let's go eat!" Lucy exclaimed and skipped away to the Great Hall for dinner. After dinner they all walked to the Gryffindor common room.
After two hours of playing Exploding Snap, it was nine o'clock. "I'm going to bed. Goodnight Lucy, Fred." George hugged Lucy and Fred and went to his dorm. Lucy looked around and saw that no one was there. It was only her and Fred.
"Hey Lucy?" Fred put his cards down and looked at Lucy. "Yeah?" Lucy looked at him. "Okay...um...I've liked you since first year, so do you want to be my girlfriend? It's okay if you don't fe-" Fred rambled on, but Lucy occur him off by kissing him. "Yes, I would love to be your girlfriend Fred. I've actually liked you since first year too." Lucy admitted smiling.
"Wow, so do you want to go to Hogsmeade this weekend?" Fred asked. "I would love to." Lucy smiled and kissed Fred again.
