The first thing in the morning, I saw her walking out of her house with a groggy face. I didn't mind asking her what's wrong since her face says 'dont-talk-to-me'.
"Goodbye Caleb." My Mom waving goodbye at me before I started the engine.
"Hey, okay ka lang?" I asked Halsey.
"Mukha ba 'kong okay?" Masungit nyang sagot.
"Tara, hatid na kita." I playfully winked at her pero isang folder ang tumama sa mukha ko bago ko pa sya marinig na sumakay sa loob ng kotse. "Sasakay din naman pala." I murmured. She just stayed silent the whole time while staring at her folder.
"What's seems to be the problem? Halsey?" I asked poking her head.
Napabuntong hininga sya ng ilang beses bago ako sagutin, "I doubt my professor's gonna love my essay." She answered.
"Bakit tungkol saan ba yan?"
"Sayo."
"Ha?"
"A-ah! I mean S-Sayonara Itsuka! Y-yung Japanese! Ah dyan na lang sa tabi!"
Dali-dali syang lumabas ng kotse without thanking me or saying anything. Tungkol nga kaya sakin yung essay? Pfft. That retard.

"She ran like a retard, murdering herself with the rain, in the middle of the oblivion—cursing that she would never ever forget her umbrella again. She's blinded by the tiny drops poured by heavens and was soaked from head to toe.
As rain descended, time turned slower every minute and every second. Hoping to get home, wishing she's on the couch, dreaming a mug of coffee; she didn't recognize a shadow that will eventually be her shade.
Freaking out, her heart kicked vigorously. The man behind her letters pulled her into a mere hug, she tried to calm herself— she knows he recognized her.
Her happiness overloaded but she upraised a twitched feeling of uncomfortability. Why the hell did he smile at a crazy woman who trespassed his gallery?"
