It was one of the 'bad boys' from school. The really hot tanned one with the dark brown hair and the gorgeous green eyes. The same eyes who were staring at me impatiently.

Woops. I shook my head a little, trying to clear my head as I cleared my throat.

"Uh, hi" I said, my voice coming out high pitched.

Up until now, he'd been staring above me with impatient but now he looked at me with a smirk.

"Uh, hi." he copied me with an overly exaggerated high pitched voice. "Is Rosie here?"

"Rosie? Oh, yes." He's probably talking about Lizzy's friend. I thought to myself.

But, what would he want to do with her? He wasn't going to kidnap her... Right? I mean, I didn't know the guy and from what I'd heard, he and his little possy didn't seem like the kid's type.

"What do you want with her?" I asked the guy nervously as I fiddled with my hands, immediately scowling at myself. I didn't fiddle.

He rolled his eyes. "She's my sister." he said as he pushed me out of the way and stormed inside. "Rosie!" He shouted.

For the first few seconds, all I could think of was how soft his hands were. Then my common sense came back and I became hugely offended by his rudeess but before I could say anything, Lizzy and Rosie, came running down the stairs. Rosie jumped right into the guy's arms.

"Ethan!" she shouted like she was the happiest kid in the world.

Oh. So his name was Ethan. Cute. Wait. No! Not cute. He's rude and (apparently) a player. Snap out of it Bella.

"You were supposed be home ages ago!" Ethan said, annoyed..

"I'm sorry" Rosie said with a pout.

I watched as Ethan melted at the sight and scoffed a little. Someone had him wrapped around her tiny little finger.

"It's okay, but we've got to go home." He said with a much calmer tone than he had used on both, his little sister and me earlier.

I clicked my tongue and he turned around, looking directly at me for, what it seemed, the first time before giving me a small wink. With a disbelieving look, I rolled my eyes and with a final smirk, Ethan and Rosie exited the house.

The next day I woke up feeling genuinely happy because of two things:

One; It was Saturday so, how could you not be?

Two; It was my birthday. Finally I was seventeen. And the best of all... Today I would get my first car (that is, if my dad kept his promise). That was enough to make anybody happy.

I kicked of my covers and ran downstairs, only to find my family in the kitchen waiting for me with a stack of pancakes. I smiled, pancakes were our traditional birthday breakfast.

"Happy birthday, sweetheart" Dad said as my mom kissed my cheek.

"Thanks, dad." I grinned.

Lizzy approached me with her hands behind her back before handing me a blue Tiffany's box. I looked around me with a suspicious look; my parents never shopped at Tiffany's.

Dad had a prankster look on his face and my suspicion only grew stronger. I quickly averted my eyes back to the box and unwrapped the little baby blue bow. When I opened the box I saw something way better than jewlery; Car keys. I swear to god, the monks in ancient China could here my loud scream of excitement.

"Oh my god, thank you, I love you, thank you, oh my god, thank you!" I said and went around the table, kissing them all on their cheeks. Lizzy giggled which was the happiest sound you could ever hear.

"Get ready and then we can take a look at the car." Dad said equally as excited as I was.

I ran up stairs threw on the outfit I had picked the night before. A casual but pretty baby blue sundress. I paired that with a black leather jacket, put on red lipstick, black eyeliner and some mascara. I looked in the mirror and was pleased with the results. It was my birthday; I wanted to look nice.

When I got outside I saw a silver Mazda 3 car standing in our driveway. I screamed for the second time this morning. Screw sweet sixteen! The seventeenth was definitely going to be my best year yet.

"Dad, stop it, okay?! I can't drive with you breathing down my neck." I exclaimed, slapping my dad's hand as he pointed where I supposedly was supposed to turn.

"You're going the wrong way."

My mom had needed some stuff from the supermarket and because I now had a car, I'd volunteered quicker than it took Katniss to volunteer at the hunger games.

My dad had insisted on coming with me and as you can probably tell, it wasn't going so good.

"Daddy," I began with gritted teeth. "I know where the supermarket is, I drove past it yesterday with my friend Shannon. Trust me on this."

"That's not the shortcut, the shortcut --"

"I love you dad and I appreciate everything you do for me but I will kick you out of this car."

"That is no way to speak with your father!" Dad used his I'm-your-father-hear-me-roar voice.

"Sorry." I sighed.

As I looked around, I realized that I actually had no clue where we were. Dad's fault for distracting me. I drove into a parking lot to turn the car around and we were back on track.

"I told you my way was shorter." Dad mumbled like the five year old his soul is.

I almost had a fit.

***Hope you liked this chapter! I'm planning to write another one today but I'm not sure. :) Leave a comment & vote!!<3***

*Edited 16.04.2014* I added the last bit because the chapters are ridiculously short and this doesn't interfere with the main storyline, hope it doesn't bother you!
