Damon POV:
Of all the people in the world, a little girl. Who knew an Original was capable of caring for someone let alone a weak, helpless little girl! I laughed, shaking my head at the thought. "There's no way." I replied into the phone. "Actually there is, Anastasia took her in." Adrian argued, persuading me. "Uh huh, you're deluding yourself." I concluded, hanging up the phone. "Who was that?" Elena questioned, sticking her head into the room. "An old friend." I replied vaguely. Elena soon disappeared, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
Ana POV:
"Be careful Ana, you're turning into me." Klaus taunted, sipping his scotch. "Shut up Niklaus." I hissed using his full name. Klaus shook his head, laughing at me under his breath. "Ugh! I'm leaving." I groaned walking out of the house to my car. "And where might you be going at this hour?" Elijah interrogated, slipping into the passenger seat. I rolled my eyes. "It's not that late, and I'm going to the Grill." I answered starting up the car. Pausing I looked over at my eldest uncle. "What is it?" He asked, smiling to himself. "You're not coming with me, are you?" I spoke. If he came he would most likely NOT let me get something to drink, blood of coarse. "I am." He stated smugly. I groaned once again, shifting the car into drive before taking off.
As soon as we entered the room I could feel everyone's attention come to us. Those who had no idea what we were shrugged it off as a casual visit, however, the few that did in fact know what we are kept their eyes trained on us as we approached the bar. I noticed Matt behind the counter and smiled. "Hey." I greeted sliding onto a bar stool. Elijah took the one to my right and watched Matt closely. "Hey Ana, what can I get you guys?" He inquired, his eyes flicking to my uncle every so often, jumping when Elijah made even the slightest move. "Well I'm not sure about my babysitter there, but I'll get a whiskey." I ordered, smiling genuinely. "Alright, and for you Elijah?" I could hear the shake in his voice as he turned to my uncle, fear dancing in his eyes. "Scotch, neat." Elijah replied simply, dismissing him. When Matt disappeared tot he back I turned to face my uncle. "See why I don't bring you anywhere, you are very intimidating." I elaborated. "I'm an Original Vampire, we are supposed to intimidate." Elijah countered, his voice becoming quieter when he said 'Original Vampire'. "Mhmm doesn't mean you have to go around scaring poor innocent humans." I smirked. Matt came back, placing our drinks in front of us before turning to face me. "I heard what you and Kol did." He informed. "And?" I urged him to continue. "Why'd you kill Bonnie?" He asked, obviously curious. "I didn't, Kol did." I corrected. "As for why, well he was protecting me. You see your friend Bonnie went all witchy ju-ju on me." Matt's face scrunched up in confusion, immediately telling me that he must have heard Elena's distorted version of the story. "Hold on a moment." Elijah interrupted, putting his glass on the counter. "How do you know?" He questioned, staring intently at Matt who looked absolutely terrified. "I heard from Damon." He replied. I cocked my head to the side in confusion. Damon?
Kol POV:
"Finally." I huffed, locating the address. Walking up the stairs I smirked to myself, knocking on the door. "Come in." A woman's voice invited. I almost laughed at her stupidity, inviting a random person into your home. Opening the door, I stepped inside. "Who are you?" She questioned, entering the room I was inhabiting. "Well, darling, I'm Kol Mikaelson." I smiled almost sadistically when I saw her face change to one of pure fear. "And I'm giving you five seconds to run." She didn't hesitate in taking off, her loud footsteps echoing through the home. I didn't bother counting, I just took off after her. With the advantage of vampire speed I was in front of her in seconds. She crashed right into me, stumbling to the ground. "What do you want from me?" She screamed, crawling back as I stalked towards her. "It's not what I want, darling. But your husband seems to have upset my niece, again." I cooed, taking her by the throat and lifting her to her feet. Her fingers clawed desperately at my hand, she was choking. The sound of the front door slamming made my head snap in that direction, only to see Adrian run into the room. "Well I'm surprised." I mocked sarcastically, I knew he'd show up eventually. "Let her go." He hissed, stepping closer. I pulled his wife, Natasha, in front of me. "Ah ah ah, not so fast. Unless you want her heart to relocate." I threatened, noticing the stake in his hands and shaking my head. A stake? Really, all that's gonna give them is five minutes and a very pissed Original Vampire.
