(Leo's POV)
(It's time for some more of the McShizzle!)

I'm not really in pain anymore.

I mean, I'm sore, and I broke my left leg, my left arm, and I have a slight concussion that gives me a head ache, but other than that, I'm fine.

Ha. Ha.

Lucky for me, they've already set and fixed my ribs- I just need to be easy on them and not twist around too much.

They're letting me out on Monday, and I will be let back into school on Wednesday. Apparently, there is an elevator I can use to get from class to class- me being in a wheelchair and all.

Being in a wheel chair is ew. It requires help from another person just to get to the end of the hallway. Since my arm is broken, I can't push it myself. So, whenever I'm alone, I am either stuck in one place, or I have to attempt to drag the chair around with one arm.

All of my friends have stopped in to see me periodically, keeping me caught up on stuff, socially and educationally. Nobody has told me about the social yet, though it was only yesterday.

Somewhat surprisingly, Calypso hasn't really left my side. I'm really glad she's here. She's fun to talk to, especially because it gets boring and lonely really fast.

In fact, she's here now.

"Hey Leo, what's a six letter foreign word for happy?" She asks me, looking up from her crossword. "It doesn't even clarify what language!"

"Try festus," I answer immediately. She furrows her eyebrows, fills it in, then raises them as it fits perfectly.

"How did you know that?"

"I, uh, I used to have a dog named Festus," I say casually.

Festus was my dog for 14 years. He was the best friend a guy could have, and was my one and only friend for a very long time. Festus was my wingman, and a very good one at that.

I loved Festus like crazy, and he lived a long, happy life. He died of old age about a year ago, and I haven't had a pet since.

She frowns a little at my answer, but doesn't ask any questions. She seems to know how to read people extremely well.

"So, you're coming back to school on Wednesday, right?" She asks hopefully.

"Man, I hope so. It's so boring in here..." I groan, slumping back down into my bed. She laughs, and stands up.

"Well, I think I can do something about that," she says, pulling out a large duffel bag. I gape at her as she pulls out a pile of movies, card games, board games, and CDs.
