She looked at him. The moonlight seeping through the blinds, landing on her face.

And he would love her for eternity for that.

They found out she was pregnant a while ago, and she was showing. A lot.

He came back one night, all bloody and bruised. He forgot the reason why, but the next thing he knew was in bed. All his wounds were patched up.

His wife had given him the lecture of his lifetime. She burst into tears even thinking about him almost dead.

Now back to the present, she was holding his hand preventing him from leaving. She looked up to him from their bed.

"You better come back alive."

A pause.

"We need you."
