College fanfic because why not. This was supposed to be happy but something happened and now I'm tearing up.
Linda was tipsy. Maybe more than tipsy. She was starting to feel the lights on her skin. After their falling out, she didn't need to stay inside her dorm. So, Linda dressed herself up in his favorite dress, straightening her long black hair and went with Kori and Raven to the frat party.
Someone was behind her, dancing with her. At least Raven and Kori weren't the only ones getting some tonight.
She tipped the red cup into her mouth. The liquid burned her throat, but oh how she needed it. How she needed to forget.
The person behind her now was holding onto her hips and normally when she was sober, no one would even come close.
Something red came into her vision and he was in front of her. His blue eyes filled with anger at the person behind her. Linda decided she was seeing things now and decided it was best to express her anger.
Linda grabbed the stranger she was dancing with and kissed him.
She felt someone pull her away and heard struggle. Some idiots were fighting, aha!
Linda opened her eyes and saw Kori was holding her up and Wally was beating her dance partner up.
And that's when she felt sick.
Wally had taken Jinx into his dorm. Dick said that he had to take care of Kori for the night anyway.
"Aren't you a big bad boy." Jinx was still drunk. He wasn't sure how much she drank, but judging by her actions he could take a close guess.
Wally said nothing.
He felt a shiver run through him as he thought of the guy and his hands around her.
She was laying down on his bed and he was facing away from her, sitting on a chair. Jinx then grabbed his pillow and smelled it. He thought he saw her smile before she hugged it.
"I know," she stuttered, "I know you're mad at me for a reason-a reason I don't remember."
Jinx sat up.
Her red skin tight velvet dress didn't help. She knew that was his favorite dress.
"But I don't really care."
Jinx sauntered up to him and sat on his lap.
"You're drunk." Wally turned his head to the side.
Jinx kissed his jawline.
"You were the one that wanted no feelings." She kissed down his neck. "No feelings right?"
Wally felt his pants tighten.
"Stop."
She stood up and took his hand in hers. Jinx laid herself on his bed and pulled him flush against her. There were tears in her eyes but she blinked them away. Jinx continued on his neck and collarbone.
"That's what you wanted right?" Wally stiffened at her voice. "I'll make it happen alright."
She had to stop her voice from becoming wobbly.
Wally caught a glimpse of her sad eyes before she lowered them seductively.
"This much will be enough for me."
And then she kissed him.
Jinx wasn't surprised when Wally wasn't in the bed with her. The room was dark, which she was thankful for. There was a bottle of pills and some water next to her which she glared at.
No matter, she wasn't going to use any of his stuff.
Jinx was warm in his sheets and she wanted to get out. She attempted to look around to try and find her clothes but found her clothes weren't scattered on the floor like they would normally be.
Weird.
Her hand brushed up against her thigh where her dress was. She could make a run for it. Not that anyone would be after her anyways.
Jinx's feet touched the carpet and she found her shoes. She opened the door and out of the corner of her eye saw a part of his body come out of the bathroom before she slipped out the door.
Wally strutted with only his pajama pants on and saw the breakfast he made on the table untouched. Normally she would be sitting on that chair. Normally she would be turning to look at him, her face brightening when she saw him there. Normally she would come up and hug him. He turned his head to his bed.
She was gone. He stood in his place for a while feeling hollow. He told her he didn't have time for her. The hurt on her face made his chest and hands hurt. He told her he didn't want a relationship. He told her there were no feelings in things like this. He said nothing to her as he woke up early to get out before she could wake up. He said nothing when she cried.
So that's how it felt like when someone left without a goodbye.
