Kori was starting to remember more and more of her past life. She didn't know if she should share the information with Jason.
One day in their apartment, they were lazing around on the couch watching tv. Him playing with the tips of her hair which were warm flames on his fingertips.
"I'm starting to remember more of my past life."
Jason didn't know how to respond to that so he allowed her to continue.
"Was that you? The Red X? That boy used to always flirt with me in front of Richard?" Jason chuckled.
"You got me there, cutie." Kori pouted and lightly punched him on the shoulder before snuggling into him again.
"Richard was convinced we were dating for a whole month until he just stopped one day." Kori mumbled into his chest.
"I told him it was me, that's why. He knew that I just dropped in sometimes to check on him. My big brother and all had his own team and city while I was stuck with Daddy Bats."
He paused. "Do you remember how the two of you broke up?"
"He told me he didn't love me." Kori said, her eyes looking off into the distance.
"Well, Dick was a real mess after you left. Went around sleeping with a new girl every night, going to clubs."
Kori pouted again.
"He was so out of it, he was starting to act like Bruce. Tried dating a couple of girls. Did you hear about him proposing to Babs?"
The princess nodded her head, "When Roy and I were dating, he was on the phone with Richard. He would not tell me what they discussed."
Jason slightly frowned, showing a dimple.
"She didn't say yes, or no. I still don't understand why she kept the engagement ring though." Kori rolled her eyes at this.
"You humans are so complicated, it is most bothersome." Jason laughed again and pulled her on top of him.
"I know you love him Kori." She had her hands behind his head, playing with the hair there.
"I love you as well, Jason." Kori wrapped her legs around his waist.
He brought his face closer to hers and kissed her lips, hungrily. He grabbed her bottom and took her to their bed. She giggled when he nipped at her skin near her collarbone.
He spoke while giving her butterfly kisses. "Want to make him jealous?" Kori pulled at his ebony hair, running her fingernails through his scalp. "You love to do that, so why not?"
Jason smirked at her from her from his spot on her stomach.
"Wear that dress I like tonight, we'll be making an appearance at the annual Wayne charity crap that Bruce and my brothers are throwing." He kissed his way back up to her mouth.
"Why tonight? We can get ready now."
Another mischievous grin. "We'll be occupied for quite a few hours, princess."
