Chapter 10

Namjoon took a hold of my hand and lead me out of the room and up the stairs towards the music. I could hear laughter echo from one room.

We walked in to find them all having what looked like a party. Everyone was up and dancing looking like they were having a grand celebration.

"Having fun?" Namjoon shouted to get their attention.

They all turned around and their eyes immediately went to mine and Namjoons hand and they all smiled. Jamie, Leah and Hannah came running towards me and hugged me.

"I knew you guys liked each other" Hannah said pointing at us.

I laughed and Namjoon looked embarrassed. Taehyung walked over and smiled at us. "I saw this happening"

I looked at him questionablly. "What do you mean?"

"Tae's gift is seeing the future" Namjoon said from beside me.

"That's so cool" I said to him.

Taehyung laughed. "I guess it is"

Leah stood beside him and held his hand. "It's an amazing gift Tae"

"It told me that you were coming so I guess it is" Taehyung said smiling down at Leah.

I went over to an empty chair in the corner of the room and sit down. Today, despite hurting my leg, had been perfect. For the first time in a while, I felt at home and happy.

Namjoon walked over and sat on the floor next to me, his hand on my leg. I looked over at him with a grin on my face.

"You seem happy Lacey" Namjoon said to me.

"She is" Hoseok called from the other side of the room.

I laughed. "He's right. I am happy Namjoonie"

"Really?"

"For the first time in a long time I don't feel out of place. I feel like I belong here" I told him.

"You do belong here" he said leaning up and kissing my cheek.

"Cute" Jamie yelled as she leaned against Yoongi.

"Shut up" Namjoon yelled back glaring at them.

I laughed at them. They joked around like they were a family and they acted like one too and I felt like a part of them despite being human. Hoseok came running over to me and pulled me off the chair.

"Dance" he said as he brought me in to the middle of the floor.

I was overcome with excitement as I began to freestyle. Problem is is that I can't dance for shit.

"Oh god" Jamie said before bursting out laughing.

I collapsed on the floor and started laughing. "Yeah I can't dance"

"Yeah you are seriously a health hazard when you do" Leah said in between her laughs.

Namjoon came over to me helped me off of the floor whilst laughing. "Don't worry, I'm not allowed to freestyle anymore"

"That's because you either hurt yourself or someone else" Jimin said patting Namjoon on the back.

"See so I know how it feels" Namjoon tells me.

"You's are meant to be" Yoongi said from the other side of the room.

I blushed and hid my face in Namjoons chest, he cupped my face and brought it up so I was looking at him. He leaned down preparing to kiss me but was interrupted by Jimin's face popping up in between us.

"No PDA" he whispers before running away from Namjoon who began chasing him.

Hannah came over and stood next to me smiling. "They're always like this. Don't worry you'll get used to it"

"They fight like brothers" I said to her.

"They've lived together for centuries" Hannah tells me.

"Who did he turn first?" I asked her.

She was about to tell me but Namjoon came in puffing and Jimin followed after him. Namjoon came over and put his arm around me pulling me closer to him.

"What were you about to tell her?" Namjoon asks Hannah.

"Nothing" she said quickly before leaving.

"Lacey" a voice asked. I turned around to see Jin. "What would you like for dinner?"

"No its okay. I can cook it myself" I tell him.

He shakes his head. "Please Lacey, I enjoy cooking and I missed it. This gives me a reason to cook"

"Well I guess if you're okay with it" I said to him.

He bows and quickly sprints out the room sending a breeze through my hair. I was never going to get used to that.

"You will trust me" he says in my head.

"This is another thing that I won't get used to" I say back to him.

He laughs out loud causing everyone to turn around and stare at us. I felt my face go red from embarrassment as they continued to stare.

"What's so funny?" Hoseok asks.

"Uh nothing" Namjoon said quickly.

I avoided their gazes as much as I could so I wouldn't laugh. Maybe they knew about Namjoon and I being able to talk in each others heads. Namjoon did say that it wasn't normal for a human and a vampire to be able to do it.

Namjoon grasped my hand and pulled me out of the room suddenly with no warning. He stopped halfway down the hall.

"Is everything o..." I started but was cut off by Namjoon kissing me hard and pushing me against the wall.

His hands were in my hair and my arms were around his neck. This kiss was different from the first one we had, the first one was cute but this was one was passionate and sent of a message of I want you now.

One of hands went down my leg and brought it up his waist. I didn't want to let go of him, he made me feel like we were the only two people in the world. Nothing could stop us. Me and him against the world.

"Eh hem" We heard a voice say.

We broke apart to see Jin holding a tray with my dinner on it looking very uncomfortable to what he just walked in to.

"Dinner" he said raising the tray.

I walked over and took it from him. "Thank you and sorry about that Jin"

He was about to say something but we were interrupted by a door bell. Everyone came out of the room and joined us in the hallway.

"Who could be at the door?" Jungkook asked.

Namjoon immediately got defensive and protective as he quickly turned to Leah, Jamie and Hannah.

"Take Lacey to one of your's rooms" he told them.

They nodded and quickly grabbed as we ran towards one of the rooms at the end of the hallway. The room was similar to mine but it was a dark blue with white carpets.

"What's going on?" I asked frightened.

"Shh eat your dinner" Jamie said shushung me.

I nodded slightly, sat down on the floor and began to eat the dinner Jin had made for me. The room was silent as we waited for someone to come back and get us.

My heart was beating out of my chest as I waited.
