Chapter 14

"Namjoon where are you?" I asked.

He didn't answer straight away like he usually did. I ran around the house trying to find him but he was no where. I sat down on the spiral staircase with my head in my hands.

"Hey what's up?" Someone asked.

I looked to see Jimin standing in front of me with a worried look on his face. He sat down next to me.

"I've made my decision and I can't find Namjoon to tell him" I told him.

"What decision if you don't mind me asking" he said to me.

"I want to be turned in to a vampire. It's my fate so why not do it now?" I said to him.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

I nodded. "I'm certain that I want to do it. I've thought about and asked the girls and I want this" .

He put his hand on my shoulder and pulled me in for a hug. Jimin was really friendly and seemed like he really did care for me.

"You've made a big decision Lacey and I can't wait for you to be a part of this crazy family" he said to me.

"All I need to do is find Namjoon" I said to him.

"Think of somewhere that only he would go" Jimin said to me.

And then it hit me. The place we had our first date. I broke apart from Jimin and smiled down at him. "Thank you so much, you're a genius"

"Glad to I could help" he called as I ran out of the door.

I ran down the stairs and along the side of the woods towards the woods. He must be at our spot, no one knows about it except me and him. I ran in to the woods calling his name until I came in to the spot where he was sitting with his heads in his hands.

"Namjoon" I said as I kneeled beside him.

"No Lacey. I understand if you want to leave me" he said.

"I've made decision" I said to him.

He looked up at me with tears in his eyes. "This is it. You're leaving me"

"Namjoon I..." I started but he cut me off.

"No don't try. I'll take you somewhere safe" he said getting up.

"For the love of God Namjoon will you just let me finish" I screamed at him.

He was startled by my outburst but it shut him up enough for me to finish what I was saying.

"The decision I've made is that I want to be turned in to a vampire" I told him.

"What?" He said turning back to me.

"I want you to turn me. If it means I can stay with you forever and become a part of this crazy family then do it" I said to him taking a step towards him.

He ran towards me and grabbed me spinning me around the flowers. I winced as he put pressure on my bruises, he seen my pain and put me back down.

"Sorry and another good thing about being a vampire is that when we make love it won't hurt" he said smirking at me.

"When do we do this?" I asked.

"Tonight. You can lie in your bed and I'll do it then" he said to me.

I nodded. "I'm kind of nervous"

"Don't worry. It's gonna hurt but it'll pass" he told me.

"Did you ever imagine me as a vampire?" I asked.

He shook his head. "Tae didn't have his vision until you came in to the house. Everything's that's happened to you has been leading you to this"

"Interesting" I said. "So this is really what I meant to be"

He nodded. "Yes"

This was a big adjustment, in a few hours I was going to be saying goodbye to my human life and saying hello to a vampire life. I was going to be leaving behind my past and becoming a new person. I smiled at the thought, I wouldn't have to think about my old life anymore.

Namjoon put his arms around me and hugged me close to him. He smelt really good and it made me want him but I knew I'd have to wait.

"Namjoon you never told me what everyone's gifts are. I know that Yoongi can break control over someone, Tae can see the future and Hoseok can control emotions and moods but that's it" I said to him.

"I guess I haven't" he said running his free hand through his hair.

"Can you tell me now?" I asked. "Just so I know"

"Well I guess so" he said sitting back down on to the ground.

I sat down on the ground next to him, cross legged and waiting for him to tell me. Finally, I was gonna know what everyone could do.

"Okay you ready?" He asked me.

"Just get on with it" I said urging him to tell me.

"Okay well Jin is telepathic" he started.

"What does that mean?" I asked.

"He can communicate through our minds" he said to me.

"But I thought all of you could do that" I said to him slightly confused.

"No but he can communicate and put ideas in to someone's head. It's different from what we can do" he said to me.

"Interesting" I said to him.

"Next is Jungkook. He's got unbelievable strength, I've seen what he can do and it's really amazing" he said to me.

"Woah"

"Next is Jimin. He's a healer, he can heal any wound on a human or a vampire" he said to me.

"But when I cut my leg, he kind of struggled with the blood" I said to him.

"He's not been a vampire for a long time so he still struggles with blood. Right now he can do vampire wounds but he is getting better around blood" he said to me.

"What else?" I asked. This was so interesting.

"Leah can control time. She can make time stop, rewind or go fast forward" he said.

"That goes very well with Tae" I said to him.

"That's what we said when we realised she could do it" he said laughing. "Hannah can control the earth"

"I would love to see that" I said to him.

"And Jamie can cause pain illusion" he said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah but she doesn't use it unless she needs to like if any of us were in danger" he said to me.

"What about you?" I asked. "You missed out you"

"I can control objects and people" he said to me.

"Seriously?" I asked.

"I don't do it often. Like Jamie, I only use it if I have to" he said to me. "But that's it. You now know what everyone can do"

"Now all that's left is to see what I can do" I said to him.

Namjoon cupped my face and kissed me gently on the lips. "You're special Lacey and from what Tae's told us, you can do things that no other vampire can do"

"Well I can't wait to see" I said kissing his cheek.

For the rest of the day we laid there in each others arms as I prepared myself for my transition.
