Iona was on the floor, on the concrete, in the rain and she was hurting all over. Inside and out.

Lights began to flash as an ambulance pulled up, everything was a blur as she was taken into the ambulence van and the doors were shut.

"Where does it hurt?" A man asked her and she was tempted to say everywhere but instead she tried to pin point where it hurt most.

"M-my right shoulder" she stammered, now painfully aware of the seering hotness in that shoulder and she groaned.

When the ambulance parked, she was taken out and in to the hospital where she found herself falling in and out of consciousness. She was taken into a surgery theatre where they explained they needed to put her dislocated shoulder back into place, then conduct a series of tests to make sure there was no internal bleeding or serious head damage.

Iona sat upright as a man came foward and gently cut away her top on the right sleeve and slighty further so he could get at Iona's shoulder. She panicked at the lack of pain killers as he gently heald her shoulder, one hand in front, one on her back and he pushed. Iona cried out in pain, gritting her teeth and screwing up her eyes as pain shot through her shoulder. As soon as she felt her bones snap back into place, the man let her go and she fell down onto her back, gasping in pain.

They then put her under to take her in for a body examination.

When she awoke, she was in a hospital bed, the ceiling tiles were randomly decorated with flowers, most were plain white. The wall in front of her had a basic design on of some fields and the rest of the room was plain.

Her right arm was in a Velcro strap and the pain had gone which she was thankful for. The thing that upset her was the fact she was alone. She wasn't even entirely sure what had happened, had a car hit her?

The door opened ten long minutes later and a nurse came in and smiled. "How's your arm?" She asked, holding something in her hand.

"Okay" Iona said "w-what happened?" She stammered.

"A car hit you, it wasnt serious. If you could hold out your other arm" the nurse said kindly and Iona did as she was told and the nurse proceeded to inject her with what Iona could only assume was a type of pain relief.

"Is...is there anyone here? Can i see anyone?" Iona asked, afraid no one had come. The nurse smiled knowingly and removed the needle from her arm and turned to her.

"Who would you like to see first?"

The first person to come in was her father who looked worn out, like he hadnt slept all night.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked and Iona shrugged him off.

"Im fine, i feel fine."

"Your not in any pain?" He asked, holding her hand and she shook her head.

"Nope i'm all drugged up!" She said with a cheeky smile and her dad actually laughed, it was a weak laugh but it made Iona smile.

"Is...mum here?" She asked slowly.

"Yes but she wont be coming in to see you, i made sure of that" he said quietly and his voice of warning told her not to ask any more questions. "The nurse told me they just need to keep you in for monitoring for about an hour and then you are free to go home, they are worried because of your size and build that the pain in your shoulder may be too much" he informed her softly and she nodded.

"Well all your friends are out there, and want to see you so i guess my time is up" he said slightly awkwardly before getting up and leaving the room.

Iona sat herself up in bed and stared down glumly at her dark purple shoulder, she dreaded leaving the hospital and leaving the powerful drugs along with it.

"IONA!" Tatty cried, running into the room with Razor right behind her. She came running in and hugged her, trying to avoid Iona's shoulder (and not doing such a good job)

"Hey gorgeous!" Iona beamed as the girl let her go and moved aside so Razor could hug her.

"How are you?" He asked mid hug.

"Fine." Iona replied and he pulled away. They both sat down to the side of her bed and began asking questions, what happened? When can you leave? Does it hurt? Etcetera.

"Wow this is so cool!" Tatty exclaimed and both Iona and Razor shot her a puzzled look. "What? You are a car crash survivor!" Tatty exclaimed and Iona shook her head.

"I-it was hardly a car crash! It just bumped me slightly...hard enough to dislocate my shoulder sure but i feel fine and dont see why i cant just go straight home!" Iona moaned, flopping back against the pillows.

"Well you cant go home yet, Parker is waiting outside to see you, he has been quite annoying about it!" Razor exclaimed with a wink and Iona shook her head at him.

"Alright scram both of you, im not on my death bed!" Iona said and they both left, laughing.

"So, innocent Iona Grey runs into the middle of a road, at night, in the rain and gets hit by a car. Is this correct?" Parker said in a formal voice as he walked in and leaned against the door frame with his arms folded, looking at Iona with his eyebrows raised.

"Yes" Iona replied, trying to keep a smile from forming on her face but Parker put no such effort in and the most beautiful grin spread accross his face.

"I'm rubbing off on you!" He exlaimed cheekily.

And with that he bounded foward and, sitting right beside Iona, kissed her on the lips, taking her head in his hands and she kissed him back as if they hadn't seen oneanother in over a month.

"Dont do that again" he said quietly, pulling away and staring down at her, his eyes wide.

"Now you know what it's like to date you" Iona retaliated, folding her good arm around her bad one in an attempt at crossing them.

"Alright alright, fine whatever but you should be used to it by now-" Parker shut up when Iona hit him in the arm, leaving them both laughing.

When Parker left after about half an hour a nurse came in to 'monitor' Iona, she assumed and she said she was free to go.

Iona hopped out of bed and no sooner had the door closed that it opened again and in came the blonde image of doom. Iona's mother.

She walked straight in and grabbed Iona's good arm by the wrist so Iona couldnt exactly get away, and snarled "you're coming with me!"
