Chapter 9: Check yes Juliet

Demi’s P.O.V 

 Weeks have past since the night when Ashley asked me to be her girlfriend. It took me by surprise because I thought I would have to be the one to ask. I remember the night just like it was yesterday. The second Ashley was told she was going home I ran over to her on stage to give her a big hug. Yes she got sent home bummer I know but she did make it all the way to the top 3 ! Anyways as I embraced her in a hug I can swear I heard the words I love you being whispered into my ear. As Ashley was packing her things I found a note with the words meet me by the lake behind the mansion. As soon as 10:00 approached I ran outside. Lucky everyone was at this party at another location. When I ran outside I saw her sitting by the dock strumming her guitar. Her blonde hair moved along with the falls air. I quietly snuck up behind her. She jumped and laughed. Her laugh sounds like a musical note being sung. 

( Flash Back ) 

 “Hey babe.” I say as I kissed her kissable lips. “What are you doing out here ?” I asked her as I sat down besides her. 

 “Nothing just thinking. I usually come here to think.” Ashley replies only something seemed to be bothering her. 

 “What are you thinking about?” I ask as I move closer to her so our bodies are touching. She notices my gesture and makes herself comfortable. 

 “About us and our future.” I can hear the sadness in her voice. It pained me because I know exactly what she’s trying to say. Only that’s when she changed the subject. 

 “Have you ever had a girlfriend before?” Ashley asked voice full of curiosity. 

“Um no I haven’t.” I reply looking into her eyes. 

“Well I mean neither have I but I would like to change that. I know it looks like where dating but I never fully asked you out or we never really made it official. I have thought about ways to ask you out romantically. Only thing is my time here was cut short. I want you to be mine Demi and I want you to be mine now. Will you please be my girl friend ?” 

I can tell how much she wants this just buy looking into her eyes. Was I ready to make a commitment to her now ? Right then and there?” 

 “Yes Ashley I would love to be your girlfriend.” I say looking into her eyes that were filled with love and happiness. She leaned in to give me a kiss. Right then and there I knew exactly where my life was going. I am not going to let anything or anyone ruin this. Yes Ashley Constancio is the girl that I want to spend the rest of my life with. 

 Ashley’s P.O.V 

 Now having Demi as my girlfriend has been the best few weeks of my life. I can’t explain the way how I feel when I am with her. As much as I loved Jc this is different. 

 “Hey Ash wait up !” I hear my best friend Sarah calling from behind me. Oh did I mention that Demi is coming back home with me for the next few days ? Yeah well she is because she’s helping me back. Yes you heard me correctly. The night I asked Demi out well something else happened. 

 (Flash Back ) 

 “There’s something else bugging you. I can feel it.” Demi says after our long lasting kiss. 

 “Kinda. I mean everything’s perfect but where do we go from here ? I am being sent home. I live in San Antonio. How are we going to see each other ?” I ask trying not to sound too depressing. 

 “Well I have been thinking about that too. I have done a lot of thinking and I was wondering , how would you like to move in with me ?” 

 I look into her eyes which were filled with hope. This is big. Extremely big. If I move to La with her that mean’s I have to leave everything in San Antonio behind. I have to leave my brother’s my mother and well my best friend Sarah as well. Will I be able to this ?  Anything for Demi yes I would be able to. Here’s the crazy thing about love, your willing to take chances for the person you love. I would do anything to be in Demi’s arms for the rest of my life. As much as it will hurt to say goodbye I am ready to take my next step into my future with Demi. 

 ( Back to Reality ) 

 I couldn’t help but laugh as I watch over to Alex and Sarah laughing about something that Demi and I didn’t know. I grab Demi’s hand as the private jet takes off back to my home in San Antonio. As I look out the window I couldn’t help but smile as happiness finally over takes my life.
