Chapter 15 :
Ashley’s POV:
“So Maddie what have you been up to?” Demi asks as we sit down on the grass that’s next to an empty field. ‘Nothing much just school and drama.” Maddie responds. “What kind of drama?” “Um can I go get a soda?” Maddie asks suddenly sounding a little off. “Ok sure.” Demi says as she hands Maddie a couple of dollars. I wait for Maddie to be out of site before I lean into Demi’s arms.
“See I told you my family loves you.” Demi says. “I figured they would because well everyone loves me.” I reply. I couldn’t help but let out a laugh as Demi rolls her eyes. I am about to lean in for a kiss when a soccer ball rushes past my face nearly nocking me out.
“Oh my god I am so sorry!” I hear someone yell. “Yeah excuse my boyfriend he doesn’t watch out for anyone at all…. ohh hey Demi.” I look up and sure enough Selena Gomez is standing before us with an awkward smile across her face. “Hey babe catch!” I take another duck as a soccer ball fly's above my head. Thankfully Selena catches it. “Your such an idioit.” Selena says.
“I agree.” I add. “Well hey its not my fault you guys are sitting in the middle of an open soccer field.” Justin says in a devensive tone.
“So um Demi how have you been? Its been awhile.” Selena says awkwardly. “Um Ash why don’t you go see where Maddie is? She shouldn’t be this long to just get soda.” Demi says. “Sure.” I am about to leave when Selena speaks. “Justin can you go with her? I would like to speak with Demi if that’s ok?”
As I am walking I hear him. “Ash wait up!” I turn around to find the Justin Bieber walking with me. Normally I would fangirl so freaking hard but something in the distance catches my eye. My eyes widen with fear as a familiar man is talking to Maddie. I grab Justin by the arm and pull him behind this big bush. I pop my head to the side to see them still talking.
“Ash whats going on? Ow your nails. If you just wanted to have some alone time with me you could have asked.” Justin replies with a smirk across his face. “Your such an ass.”. “Can you tell me what’s going on?” Justin ask as he pulls out of my tight grip.
“Well well well if it isn’t Miss Ashley Constancio.” I freeze by that too familiar voice. “You know this dude?” Justin asks. “Yes he’s my father.” I reply allowing to let a hint of fear escape.
