Ashley's POV:
As the tears start to come to an end I feel a cold hand ontop of mine. Its not my mom's I know this hand way to well. Embarrsed I turn my head away from her so she couldn't see the shame I feel.
"Look I know you don't want to see me and I could understand why. I just... I just need to tell you I love you." I take a deep breath as those words are spoken. I could feel my eyes getting watery as more tears start to form. I slowly give in. I open my eyes and let those tears fall.
"I don't know the pain your going through but I have been through pain myself. I know you will win this battle. No matter what happens we will work through this together. I will never leave you no matter how tuff your recovery is. I love you Ashley. Always have always will." "I love you." I manage to say through my raspy voice.
My mind starts to ease a little as I feel Demi's lips slowly fall onto mine. With one light kiss that's all I need. She pulls away leaving me breathless as always. For the first time in years I finally know what it feles like to be loved.
