Its been almost a month since that night. As much as I would like to say I am over it I know I am not. I know its gonna take months weeks hell maybe even years. Maybe I would never get over this. Living as a rape victium isn't easy but knowing I have someone like Demi by my side helping me through everything just makes everything a litttle bit easier.
"Hey beautiful." A smile creeps on my face as I feel her wrap her arms around me from behind. "So what are you doing all dressed up?" She asks as she studies my outfit which is skinny jeans and a nice button down shirt which to me is not dressed up at all. "Well I figured we could go out today. It's been awhile since I got some fresh air ? Plus I am craving some taco bell." I say which is ture. "Your always craving taco bell." Demi complains as she rolls her eyes. "Yeah Yeah whatever. Where going." I say as I gather my stuff and pull Demi with me.
It feels good to be able to step outside and enjoy the nice fresh air of California. I let Demi drive as sit passengers side. With the window's down and music up I just couldn't help but think that I could have lost all this. Somethings we take all the litte things in life for granted. You always got to enojy life and enjoy what you have. Be thankful for who's by your side and enjoy the little things that we take for grattent because you never know when those things could be taken away from you.
