Demi's POV:
"Um so how has life been treating you?" My ex Selena asks. "Its been ok how about you?" I ask trying not to give Selena too much information. Its been almost about 2 years since I last talked to her. This feels weird. "Things have been good. Been busy with work and stuff." Selena respons. "How's Justin?" I ask suddenly. "Actually I am glad you asked. Things have been going great! I have never been this happy before." Selena replies with a hgue smile on her face. "How's Ashley?" I shake my head in disappointment. "Did yu just come over here to try to bring me down or , did you have something that yoou actually wanted to talk to me about?"
I watch as Selena remains silent for the next few minutes. "Whatever." I add as I start to gather my stuff. "You know your so called girls have been gone for awhile. You might as well wanna check up on them." Selena adds sending me a little evil wink before walking away.
You know what I am glad she cheated on me with Justin. She's evil. I remind myself as I pick up the phone to call Ashley. Huh thats weird. Ashley always answers my calls. I call again. Nothing. I call Maddie. Nothing. Panic starts to take over. I decide to trace Ashley's steps & slowly make my way to the soda machines.
"Ashley?! Maddie?!" I yell out into the empty playground that now surrounds me. For what is a big playground now seems so small. My heart races as horrible thoughts take over. My hands slowly turn intso fists as anger erputs.
I lost my girls. How the hell I am I ever gonna forgive myself? No there not dead yet Demi. Don't think like this! There gone just gone. You will find them. I slowly speak out lout ot myself.
My phone suddenly goes off causing me to jump. "Demi its Maddie." I hear. "Omg Maddie where are you?!" I yell. "Um I am hanging out with my friend Andrew. I will be hone soon don't worry about me." Maddie speaks. "Maddie is something wrong? Where's Ashley?" I ask trying to stay calm even though I am failing. "Look I gotta go. Demi I love you. Maddie says as she hangs up the phone. "No Maddie!" I yell.
Wait Andrew? That name sounds familair. Andrew as in Ashley's brother Andrew? I quickly pull out my phone as an idea forms in my head.
