Chapter 10: Secrets

 Demi’s P.O.V :

 Even though its the middle of fall the sound of the waves crashing against the beaches shore makes all your problems go away. All your worries just wash away along with the sand and rocks that go along with the water.  I look over to Ashley who is engaging in a deep conversation with Sarah. Alex suddenly takes my arm and pulls me lightly behind the girls. 

“Is there something going on between you and Ashley?” I stop walking as I move my gaze towards Alex. He has been really quiet since I came here. Ashley and I have been so careful as to not get caught. Should I tell him ? Would Ashley get mad ? Yeah she would get mad. She’s very secretive about this relationship. Knowing me I can’t keep quiet. 

“You know how I can tell ?” Alex asks breaking the awkward silence. “How?” I ask. Stupid me. By saying how I pretty much just admitted it. Ashley’s going to kill me. “Its the way you two look at each other. I can feel the love you hold for her within the air. Its really obvious.” Alex finishes. 

 “Oh” Is all I can let out. 

 “Look you might think I hate you but honestly I don’t. I have never really seen Ashley this happy before. She looked happy when she was dating Jc but being her brother I can feel that she wasn’t. Just promise me one thing?” Alex stops walking which causes me to stop too. He looks up at me with warm welcoming brown eyes. “Promise me you won’t hurt her?” “I promise.” 

 Ashley’s P.O.V 

 “I wonder what there talking about?” Sarah asks. I stop walking just when Sarah does. I can see her looking back at Alex and Demi. There obviously in a deep conversation.

 “Hey guys hurry up already !” Sarah yelled. “Coming!” Finally Alex and Demi reunite with us. Only Demi seems to be showing her sexy teasing smile. Before I know it I am being sprayed by silly string. Alex also is attacking Sarah. Just like that our nice peaceful walk turns into this huge silly string fight. 

 “Just admit it I got you good.” Demi says as where cleaning up after our mess. “Fine. You got me.” I say while letting out a teasing smile. I am about to pick a bundle of string up when I feel a hand brush mine. Instead of letting go she keeps it there. I look over to Demi who is biting her lip. God she kills me a little inside every time she bits that lip. 

 “What?” I ask. “Nothing just you look really cute in a beanie.” Demi says as she gets up. Huh. That was weird. “Oh and I forgot something.” Demi comes back over and leans in for a quick kiss. However the second its done I pull away. 

“Demi what are you doing? We can’t do this here.” I say trying to capture my balance. Every time we kiss I always get extremely wobbly afterwards. That’s just how magical her kisses can really be. “Trust me everything will be ok.” Was all she says. She walks over to Alex and Sarah who aren’t even paying one last bit attention to us. As she walks I couldn’t help but stare at her ass. “Hey you coming ?” Demi says suddenly turning around. “Yup.” I yell as I run up to her.
